Very good picture on TV channels even the non-HD ones and from BLU RAY and DVD content. For those who have a collection of Greek DVD movies, they will enjoy them here. It seems to somewhat enhance their picture quality. Unfortunately, although there is an option in the menu, the image frame adjustment to 4:3 does NOT work, and instead, it provides a stretching adjustment of the image on the vertical and horizontal axis with arrows so that "pulling" the image does not appear distorted, but it zooms in and part of the image is lost. The HDR adjustment also does not work, even though it is present in the picture settings menu. I have upgraded to the latest software, hoping that they would work, but nothing. However, you will see 4:3, but only from an external source like BLU RAY and DVD players or from a TV box media player. Since generally all "smart" TVs have their own media player, be aware that it is almost always inferior to the externally connected specialized boxes for this purpose, and if you want better picture quality, you should prefer to play your videos from those, because the TV's are the same in quality and capabilities or even worse than those of the 20-euro digital decoders, and it may make you lose any idea about your TV. If anyone here knows something about the settings that I saw are not working, please enlighten me.
Due to my own mistake, I chose a smart TV instead of an Android TV, resulting in the lack of an application for Cosmote TV. I had to make do with the Google Chrome cast. Therefore, two stars less because of this. The TV is generally good, and the ambilight feature is the best thing about it as it provides depth and allows for a relaxed viewing experience.
I bought this product for both my TV and computer, and as soon as I updated it, the HDR Plus was turned off. The graphics in games were terrible, and as a TV, it was mediocre. It has HDMI 2.1 and the image quality in games is very disappointing. It falls short in many aspects, and as a TV, it is mediocre. I will never buy anything related to Philips again.
The television is great for its price, however it DOES NOT have Bluetooth, despite the fact that both the description on Skroutz and in the store claim that it does. There has obviously been a software update, but nothing has changed. Unfortunately for me, Bluetooth was one of the main reasons I chose this particular television.
