  I bought it from a pharmacy for faster results. At first, I used a gun and turned it back and got this one. I do not recommend it, it is difficult to handle and it is not accurate in measurements. The best one of all is the mercury one, but it is no longer available, so arm yourself with patience and get a mercury-like or an electronic one, place it under your armpit and leave it for 3-5 minutes to have an accurate result. And one more thing, Microlife is "Swiss design", it is not Swiss but Taiwanese

  We bought this specific thermometer because Swiss Microlife is globally known for manufacturing medical diagnostic devices. It has a 5-year warranty from the Greek representative and comes with instructions in Greek. The price (around 25 euros) is reasonable, and in general, electronic ear thermometers are considered more reliable compared to those that measure temperature on the forehead. This particular one provides measurement in 1-2 seconds. It can be easily used in the dark as it has an illuminated tip and an LCD screen. It also measures ambient temperature, surface temperature of baby milk, and surface temperature in the bath. As for the accuracy of its measurements, which is the main concern, we recently checked it on our little daughter who had a fever. If one follows the instructions, it shows a slight deviation of 0.2-0.3 °C compared to a mercury thermometer. Additionally, the instructions may be challenging for someone who is not familiar with electronic devices as they require some initial settings (date, time, Celsius or Fahrenheit, etc.) that may seem a bit complicated, hence the 4 stars. Overall, though, it is a good choice, especially for someone with young children.
