Stratamed is a full-coverage wound dressing that provides an environment for healing and the prevention
of abnormal scarring. Stratamed can be applied directly to any fresh surgical incision or excision, open wound, and skin surfaces that have experienced a loss of continuity, chemical peels, abrasions, first and second-degree burns, and superficial burns from radiotherapy.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I bought it for the incision from a cesarean section and as they correctly wrote, if the incision is well stitched, then the cream will help a lot in healing. If not, as happened to me, then it has no results since the stitches they put on me (absorbable) caused an allergic reaction and the scar became worse! However, as a cream, it is good although expensive
I had initially purchased a different, slightly cheaper product and decided to get the stratamed with the foolish thought that it would be more expensive and do a better job. While I had the first cream, everything was fine, but a few days after the change, the scar became distorted and the things it claimed to prevent appeared. Now I have started using the previous one again and I hope the problem will be fixed. .. very disappointing result on a surgical incision (10-year-old child)
Almost miraculous!
It was used on a scar from stitches and the mark that remained you have to look for to see it.
Personally, after thyroid removal, I had perfect results! I have recommended it to many, and everyone has had a perfect outcome!! The main condition is to adhere to what is required, not to neglect it for even a day, and to keep it out of the sun. If used correctly, the results are definitely there, and I have many others as well as personal experience where we had excellent results!
I bought it at an unbelievable price, from a pharmacy (I wish I had checked here first) and I believe it works quite well. Of course, my incision had been stitched with plastic, so it was very neat. It requires some minutes of massage and personally, I was also using bio oil alongside it on my own initiative.
I bought it several times in the hope that it would help with my cesarean, as it was suggested to me, I can't say that it did anything
Purchased for €31 for approximately 10g on 8/24 and now on 12/24 it has gone up to €45... excessive.. The first photo (from bottom to top) is after one day of removing stitches when usage started. The second photo is after daily use for a month continuously twice a day. The third and fourth photos (one with flash and the other without) are from the third month with usage once a day from the second month to the third. I continue the use and may come back. The quantity purchased is 10g. The use should be done twice a day for at least 60-90 days. The feeling the first time is strange because it feels like handling silicone for work due to the texture. It reminds of something like that but washes off the hands with water and a little soap. A minimal amount is enough. If it doesn't dry or if you apply too much, it will leave a stain on clothing. Read the instructions before purchasing. I don't know if I would buy it again and if it really does what it promises.
Being prone to minor injuries, I have been using it frequently since 2018. Expensive, yes, but with the minimal amount needed, each tube lasts me about 2 years.
Having a history of keloid scar appearance, I was very scared about the result of mole removal on my face. After 12 days of applying antibiotic cream, I started using stratamed twice a day consistently. It has been 1 month and the site of the intervention looks very faint.
It was used in a thyroidectomy scar where plastic surgery was also performed, and the result is impressive. After 2 years, there is no chance of detecting the scar. Not even a faint mark. It's as if it never happened. It goes without saying that you need to be meticulous and careful, and the application should be done correctly for as long as necessary.
In every stitch, it worked wonders on my 4-year-old's face! The wound was deep, the scar was big, and I thought it would leave a mark on my child. Now, it's barely noticeable. Excellent, just make sure to apply it immediately after stitching and use it daily.
It does absolutely nothing. If you have a properly closed surgical incision, good for you. Otherwise, it won't save you anything. Neither stratamed nor any other
Excellent ointment, quite expensive but possibly the best in its category. On stitches on the face (forehead and chin of a small child) as well as on stitches on an adult's elbow with a scar length of over 10cm, the result is excellent! Additionally, after removing moles on the stomach, we apply it and the result already looks good... It needs to be applied twice a day and for at least 20 days. The most important role is played by the regenerative ability of the skin, but the help of this specific ointment is also significant. To achieve the best result, it should be applied immediately after removing the stitches and while the scar is still pink before it starts to whiten.
It really works wonders! An 8-centimeter cut from a thyroidectomy, completely poorly stitched, the skin did not match the skin and the inner tissue was visible. With 30 days of use (I started it the first week after surgery, twice a day), it managed to bring the upper part of the skin in line with the lower part of the skin! I highly recommend it without hesitation!
I cannot speak for major wounds. My experience was once with a scar from a stitch on a soft skin area and the second time with a small scratch on my face from my pet. Both scars were small in size, like a pimple. And both times, I felt that this cream did nothing. Apart from protecting the surface of the wound, the healing process did not improve at all. Especially with the scratch, I thought it would help heal faster than the stitch, but I did not see the scar fading away, but rather it was delayed. The stitch, when I stopped using it, started to discolor. I do not know about large scars, I repeat. Expensive cream... Maybe A derma duo would be more beneficial, as it promotes regeneration and helps with discoloration.
I noticed that with this cream, the cut was not further irritated. I can't say that the mark faded as everyone says. It simply helped in the healing of the cut
If your incision is well stitched, then the cream will help you a lot in its healing.. if not, like what happened to me in the first surgery, then it has no results.. I used it 2-3 times a day for about six months.. the scar from my thyroidectomy is healing smoothly this time..
It was recommended by my wife's plastic surgeon for the incision she had, in order for the wound to heal faster. Unfortunately, it didn't do much! The product is overpriced!
My doctor recommended it to me for the cesarean section, but it didn't do a very good job. Maybe it's because I didn't put it on every day, but only every 2-3 days.
Very good cream, the marks I had from a car accident disappeared.
Of course, I avoid the sun at the site of the injury
My thyroid surgeon recommended it to me. Specifically, he said "You will get THIS ONE. It costs a little more, but it's worth its money."
It's definitely worth it, as the incision is no longer visible at all.
Don't search in vain, it's the best in its kind!

It's worth it and more, as the incision is no longer visible at all.
Perfect product, I used it on a small scar from olive removal 1.5 weeks after the removal, and within a few days I saw results
My 2-year-old daughter had an accident with sulfuric acid, commonly known as vitriol (it was liquid for the drains). After using this cream several times, the burn from the acid appeared to be just a simple discoloration.... amazing!!!
I had an accident resulting in a scar under my eye about 5 cm long. That's why I asked for the best one because it's in a visible spot. The pharmacist recommended it to me. After 3 months, it looks like a scratch. Maybe I needed the 10 ml, I have almost half of the quantity left.
It is the best cream for wound healing... when I removed my thyroid, I used it for 3 months and really nothing is visible... I had a 10 cm cut on my neck... I used it immediately after removing the stitches... the cut disappeared... only I can distinguish it with a magnifying lens... it plays a big role not to expose the wound to the sun because in another surgery on my leg when I started using it, it was summer and I didn't see a significant difference...

After undergoing a minor surgical procedure to remove a mole and a deeper scratch on my face, I can say that the product is excellent! It works quite quickly in both cases. Obviously, in the surgical wound, it requires a little more time, but the incision has healed and now it treats the redness (1.5 months later).
