  I got it too after reading the reviews! With my old straightener, I had to blow-dry and then straighten, and in half an hour, it would frizz. With this one, I just dried my hair, applied heat protection, and straightened it. I have never had such smooth and soft hair!! Now I don't know how it will be in the morning, but right now it's perfect!! It definitely heats like all of them, but I didn't feel like it was damaging my hair like the previous one I had. I think it was a perfect purchase!!

  I've had it for about a month, so I don't know its lifespan. However, I can help with the result.
  My hair is wavy and long; in the photo, I've dried it with a hairdryer, so it's not wavy like it is naturally.
  In 20 minutes, it has become like in the second photo; it is completely straight, smooth, and shiny. I use the plates at 200 degrees and with steam. I straighten large sections because I get bored straightening them meticulously, and the result is as you see.
  They are not light, but they are also not unbearable in weight.
  It's definitely one of the best straighteners I've used, both in terms of time (heating - process - result), and finally, I've noticed that it doesn't break my hair.
  It's not exactly the result that much more expensive similar products leave, but it's quite close and is value for money.

  My hair is a little thin and curly. That's why it's cut so short because it breaks. With the previous straightener, I would dry it first with a hairdryer to get rid of most of the curls and then use the straightener. Like everyone does. And they wouldn't even hold the next day; they were frizzy. A lot of hassle for such few soft and fragile hairs. With this straightener, I let it air dry. So I reduce the thermal processing by half. Then I go over it once or twice with the steam straightener and it turns out like this. Also, it holds up satisfactorily the next day. I think this straightener is good. I feel like I have the same and better result, with more duration, with half the thermal processing. In the straightener, I put distilled water and on my hair, some heat protection product.

  It does a good job. The only issue is the instructions. They don't tell you where to put the water. When you open it, there is a hole and I made the mistake of pouring it there. Dangerous. Not to mention that the water was running after turning the device on. Then there was no cover because obviously, it had spilled the water on my hair. So the water goes ON the part that you detach from the press. There is a very discreet spot that you open and put the water there. Reading the reviews, I realized that others made the same mistake.   I have frizzy hair. I feel like the steam burns it. I used it with steam twice and it dehydrated my hair quite a bit. Now I use it without steam and it's decent.
