Description
The Brateck wall mount can be used for mounting both small TVs (from 23 inches) and larger ones, specifically up to 42 inches. For screwing the TV, there are 5 different types of Vesa slots, including the popular 200x200 and 100x100 (see all compatible types in the Compatibility Features). The tilt feature allows you to adjust it up and down as you wish.

Of course, you need to place it on top of the television, tighten the screws on the wall sufficiently, and then mount it on the wall. I did not find any other more convenient way because if you remove the central screw afterwards, it is difficult to screw the bracket back with the television obstructing you. Also, the television cannot be screwed onto the wall with the base. So, the only thing left for you to do is what I mentioned earlier. The cables can be easily inserted after installation if you slightly twist the television. You can adjust it by turning it at a small angle, which can also happen by mistake if it is mounted low. I don't know if this is an advantage or a disadvantage!

Now, regarding this specific stand, it is very stable and has a nice and sturdy construction. The installation is very easy, first you put the small piece that screws into the wall, then you put the piece that screws into the TV, and then you connect them together with the vertical screw - bolt it has. It allows the TV to rotate right - left + - 30 degrees and up - down + - 20 degrees. Now, for those who mention that there is no space for cables, I will mention that I tied up the power strip from behind and gathered all the cables from behind so that nothing is visible.

I have 2 of these for months, in one I put a 23-inch screen, which although it didn't have holes for a base, I did it myself and it fit perfectly without any problem, it holds it with just one hole in the wall, I didn't need more. In the second one, I put a 43-inch 4K and even though I was afraid because it says up to 42 inches, I thought it couldn't hold so much weight, several months have passed and it's fine. It is incredibly convenient that you can move it right and left, as well as the tilts it takes. As for the "falling off" that someone wrote, it's not true because after you place it, you can tighten it more and the base won't move from the wall, only the side that holds the screen will move. Plus, even if it's tightened, someone has to lift the screen upwards to remove it. Obviously, I didn't expect it to have cable management, but I had to rate it. Access to the connections depends on the screen. It is convenient in one, not in the other.

2016-04-17Expert userIt offers horizontal and vertical tilt at the maximum possible degrees (until the TV finds the wall). It has room for the TV to level itself after being securely mounted on the wall by manually shaking it. It offers multiple VESA options. HOWEVER, I deduct 1 star because the base is mounted in a sliding manner - with upward movement - on the screws that are screwed into the wall (look at the shape of the holes on the surface that touches the wall and you will understand). This means that if someone unsuspectingly pushes the TV upwards, the base will come off the screws (like frames) and fall down with the TV!!! There is NO KIND of safety pin or lock that secures the base! To prevent an accidental movement that could be damaging, I suggest that after first mounting the base on the screws on the wall (according to the installation instructions), tighten them even more with a 10mm wrench (and of course, inform anyone approaching it not to lift it for any reason).
