Paperblanks notebooks have the most unique covers. Literally works of art from museums and galleries. Their paper, cream color and very easy to read, is perfect for pencil or liquid pen. Not so ideal for a fountain pen, I have tried at least 10 notebooks from the company and the paper was rougher than I prefer. They only come lined or plain, not dotted. Very nice products, the paper sleeve on the back cover is useful, and the different ways each notebook closes and the specific design with the butterflies is unique. Perfect for a gift. But for everyday and frequent use, there are much better and even local notebooks.

Edit: I have some Paperblanks notebooks from a decade ago, and 4 out of 5 had completely loose and broken elastic closure, even a brand new unwritten notebook that was closed with the elastic.
