Restorative protective hand cream with antibacterial agents. Repairs, soothes, and protects very dry and irritated hands. It is fragrance-free and suitable for very dry, chapped, cracked, and irritated hands after various aggressions (climatic, domestic, professional).
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Unacceptable cream. It does not moisturize the hands sufficiently, especially the dry ones as it is supposed to. A cheap one from the supermarket does a better job.
I do not like the smell, I had it on my hand for a week and it softened somewhat. I bought it for hand regeneration. They say it is not for hydration and you keep saying it is not good. I have half unused Cicaplast La Roche-Posay... it's absolutely nothing. I didn't expect this from La Roche-Posay. This one is much better, but I expected it to be perfect... because the facial one is simply perfect
It leaves a very strange feeling on the hands and after a while they need moisturizing again... It had no effect on my skin
I have been using Cicaplast by Laroche Posay for years. They didn't have it at the pharmacy, so I decided to try this one. It's good, but it definitely needs an additional moisturizer on top. Cicaplast repairs and hydrates perfectly. Also, what bothers me the most is that when you wash your hands, the soap doesn't lather, you have to wash them three times to feel clean. So, I only use it at night...
Spectacular result from the FIRST use.
I didn't believe it when it was recommended to me, but honestly, with hands torn, cracked, dehydrated, and rough from the cold, I had tried everything, even heavy ointments, and nothing worked. With this specific one, I saw immediate results, my hands softened, and the wounds healed.
For those who have issues with cracked hands, this is the only one I recommend.
The top photo is before and the bottom one is after one day of using the cream.
I bought it for my mother who, due to an autoimmune disease, has a serious problem with her hands, her skin gets so dry that it cracks.. The problem is chronic and she has tried everything.. it is the only cream that actually helped her!! I highly recommend it!
The specific cream is REPAIRING-PROTECTIVE, it contains zinc sulfate, copper, lead, and healing agents (i.e. antiseptics). This means that it is intended for the treatment of specific problems. Particularly very dry-cracked to even split-bleeding hands from work or climate changes. So we are talking about a medicinal cream that should not contain fragrance and NOT a moisturizing-fragrant cream.
This cream is NOT moisturizing. It is corrective and it says so. It is recommended to apply it twice a day and when it is fully absorbed, you can apply any moisturizer you desire.
I read the good reviews, but I think I disagree to some extent... I don't have issues with my hands, I bought it for moisturizing. I can say that other cheaper creams help me much more. This specific one only moisturizes at the moment I apply it, and the next day my hands are terrible again! Also, I don't like its scent at all... I won't buy it again!
It helps a lot with the cracked skin from dishwashing and other chores. The only cream that gets the job done.
The only thing that has worked on my daughter's hands with atopic skin and fingers that crack and make wounds.
Nothing special, I would say that Avene is a bit disappointing. It leaves a strange texture on the hands, like powder. It does not deeply moisturize.
Personally, I use it for eczema on my hands and within 2 weeks it seems to have disappeared. It did the job for me, so obviously I recommend it.
It leaves a strange texture on the hands, as if it makes them even drier. That's why I don't use it much and I can't evaluate if it actually moisturizes.
I don't think this cream is as AMAZING as most people say. It's just a simple and expensive cream that doesn't work miracles. I work in a workshop with soap oils, and it didn't do anything for dryness and cracking of hands.
Excellent cream. I was recommended it during the first quarantine when my hands had severe dryness from frequent washing and disinfecting, they were very red and irritated, and they even itched. Most creams, even specialized ones, didn't help me at all. This specific one immediately disappeared the itching and redness from the first application. After 2-3 days of using it, my hands had completely recovered. I highly recommend it.
I bought it for my dry, sanitized hands. I had 2 others before. Out of the 3, this one proved to be the best.
I thought it would help with my daughter's dry skin problem in the winter, but I'm not sure it does anything. Its texture is very sticky and unpleasant. In the end, I bought another cream from the same company and saw results.
A little expensive, but very good cream.
I work in a workshop and my hands, especially in winter, get dry and crack badly.
I have tried many other creams, but this one is truly the best.
Excellent restorative hand cream. It absorbs quickly without leaving any greasiness. It does not contain fragrance
Very good for dry, almost chapped from cold or frequent hand washing. You see results within 2-3 days. You don't feel any discomfort when applying it. It is necessary to use it multiple times throughout the day, especially after using disinfectant or after washing hands
The best hand cream I have ever tried! I have a problem in the winter with my hands cracking from the cold. Only with this cream I manage to restore them! It also does an amazing job on burns and prevents blisters!!
My husband has hands that bleed every winter. He tried this cream, it doesn't sting at all, it just doesn't absorb well, smells bad, and is very expensive. I will not choose it again
Strange smell and strange ingredients. I have very dry hands and I don't know how the cream manages to do it, but instead of moisturizing them, it dries them out even more. I do not recommend it.
It is an excellent cream and it acts therapeutically on tired hands. I apply it at night and in the morning the result is amazing.
Very good paper cream, immediate relief with zero greasiness. You can easily work on the computer after a minute.
The smell of it is not so pleasant for a hand cream. Also, it does not spread very easily compared to others. However, its effectiveness is not bad.
Very good hand cream. I have atopic dermatitis and it is the only cream, out of all the ones I have tried, that keeps my hands in good condition.
