The picture is quite good. Better and brighter than last year's X90K. The black is satisfactory and the viewing angle is good, despite the VA panel. The stand is quite sturdy and stable.
Certainly, the black is better on OLEDs, but OLEDs have burn-in issues, while this one does not have such a problem.
Overall, the full array technology that the X85L has is the most reliable, far more reliable than the edge-lit technology found in the cheaper Samsung models.

Quality image, vibrant colors, good performance of fast motion without blurriness, deep sound. It supports all modern applications and technologies, runs applications without lag, and has the ability to record TV programs to an external hard drive, something that Samsung has eliminated in the new models. Also, an important advantage compared to Samsung and LG is that, in addition to the smart remote (which is not convenient at all for watching TV), they continue to provide the classic remote control with many buttons and numbers.

I bought it on sale for 725€. The 55’ TV is a gem! I come from a Samsung 55’ OLED model from 2021, it’s really like day and night!

I won’t hide that there were second thoughts about the brand since Sony does have a long history in the market, however, there was some hesitation as I had heard in the past about issues with the company's product service which were defective.

Now let's get to the conventional! The TV really has excellent software, it doesn’t lag anywhere and whatever I want to do responds very quickly!!

It’s an Android TV, I have downloaded several apps like Cosmote TV, Spotify, ant plus+, and some games and they all work perfectly!! At this point, I should mention that I was a bit disappointed with the storage space which has 32 GB, and the actual available space to download apps is 20GB. Ideally, this TV should have at least 64GB in the year 2024.

As for the picture, simply excellent! Especially in movies on Netflix, I was really blown away by the picture!

The only thing that didn’t satisfy me 100% for the money and cost of the TV is the sound.. It’s not bad but it’s not the best that I would like!! I have noticed that in some songs or in some movies the sound is really perfect but at the same time in the sound of, for example, a series, I didn’t like it that much..

Overall, the TV is truly the best!!!! In my opinion, Sony is miles ahead in TVs compared to other companies!

After one month of use, I want to evaluate it as an excellent 55" TV with very nice colors, black, and a sound that doesn't require an additional soundbar. The price is exceptional for what it offers, along with Sony's free warranty extension! It is recommended to connect it with an ultra high-speed HDMI cable for even better performance!
