Stainless steel thermos cup:
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Unfortunately, it is not suitable for cold beverages and the reason is that the plastic comes off and gets lost. The device is made for hot beverages
Since you searched a lot and would spend over €30 to get a thermos, I imagine you expect, like I do, to get the best.. However, the reality is different.
It does keep the temperature of the drink, but because it is expensive, it will be judged more strictly, so you should know that:
1. It does not fit in the cup holders of all cars as it is thick.
2. Whenever you drink and close it, there is always a drop left, resulting in you not being able to drink and then put it in your bag, for example.
3. If you have a hot drink, the steam trapped inside causes a small "explosion" accompanied by the splashing of the drop mentioned earlier. Most of the time this happens on your face as you take the thermos to drink, giving you a feeling that someone spat on you (no joke). Also, if you are somewhere quiet, each opening-explosion sounds loud. I repeat, only with hot drinks.
4. After a few months of use, the rubber that seals the lid with the cup loosens, resulting in LEAKS. If you tighten it more than you should, it misaligns the letters with the spout and crumples the rubber with the risk of it cutting.
5. It only takes a thin straw (freddo espresso, etc.).
6. The interior has been stained by coffee (I only clean it with a sponge).
7. The plastic lid is very soft. It leaves marks and you need to be careful not to drop it.
update 8/2024: I bought a thermos from Starbucks for €23, which I have now for 3 years for daily use, and I can say it is PERFECT.
Exactly what I was looking for.
It keeps any temperature for several hours, no leaks at all and very good build quality for everyday use.
It's worth its money.
I recommend it.
