After a dilemma between this one and the 3060 Ti - I also considered the 4060 Ti - I concluded that the 4060 is currently the best value for money option (for those who have a card before the 30XX series):
4060: New technology, new features like DLSS 3, updated Ray Tracing and Frame Generation, lower power consumption
VS
3060 Ti: More power due to higher Bit and Cuda Cores, but one generation behind and ~50 € more expensive
Comparatively, their performance is similar, with the 3060 Ti surpassing the 3060 Ti by 0% - 5% depending on the games, there are several comparison videos.
Therefore, for a minimal difference in frames, I chose the newer and more affordable one (322 €).
As for the 4060 Ti, at ~440 € for a 10-15% improvement, it is not worth 100+ euros.
All of them perform comfortably at 1080p in everything, and satisfactorily at 2k in some games.
The transition was made from a 1060 3 GB and I will provide some indicative differences from my current games at 1080p:
FPS 1060: Rocket League= 200, Spiderman Remastered(Medium)= 55, Modern Warfare 2(Low)= 75
FPS 4060: Rocket League= 400, Spiderman Remastered(Max)= 85/ with Frame Generation= 150, Modern Warfare 2(Max) 140
At 1440p, Spiderman runs at 80+ fps and with Frame Generation 100.
Update 8/2/24:
When I bought the card, I knew I would have comfortable 1080p gaming and maybe be able to play a little higher resolution occasionally.
So far, I have all the games at 1440p, max graphics with comfortable fps and excellent performance.
Spiderman Miles Morales had similar performance to the previous one and Resident Evil 7 & Village ran smoothly at a stable 60 fps.
In the end, the choice has evolved into comfortable 1440p gaming with occasional 1080p!
