No lies, it is a quality, well-made product with exceptional sound. Bass, clarity, and precision, superior to a typical speaker of this category. However, the price is a bit steep, it could have been a little better.
I bought it for its capabilities, but the truth is that I expected more. Its battery does last quite a bit, but I had issues with its network connectivity, although the Bluetooth is fine. Even though it's a WiFi version, it could do more for its price. It doesn't connect directly with Alexa, since the JBL One app doesn't have a direct connection with Spotify and Alexa. It works fine with Google, though, as you can cast to the speaker from other music apps. The sound, overall, is okay, but it could be better.
