You have to assemble the whole thing, it is not difficult, for me it was like a lego set for adults :). Also my desktop looks clean due to the cable management that it offers.   The base you didn't know you needed. Sturdy, almost solid construction with arms and joints. The base with the arms can be customized as you wish. Essentially, it is two identical L-shaped arms with Vesa mounts, and you can place the laptop shelf on one of them. The middle pole has a maximum height of 40cm, it would be perfect if it were 50cm.

  Attention: The screws for the Vesa base are a bit far and it only has 4 wheels inside. You may need additional ones if your screen is shallow. Screw slowly by hand until you feel resistance to avoid damaging your panel.

  Conclusion: Extremely stable and sturdy construction. Numerous adjustments for tilt, rotation, etc. Various applications for dual monitors or instrument stands in a laboratory, for example. Very good value for money for what it offers. Ideal as a gift.
