Very good sander, I have it for almost 8 months. I bought it as a second one, thinking it will last for a while. I have used it extensively, literally. I have sanded cars, trucks, agricultural carts, and it doesn't even notice. It doesn't have any vibrations or anything. I use it almost every day for professional use, even though it's not meant for that, and it doesn't let me down at all. The price is a steal considering how durable it is. I buy sandpaper regularly without holes and cut it with scissors. I haven't used it for scratching yet. It's worth it blindly. And now that I'm writing this comment, I will order another one.
P.S. Turns out the price is not a steal because they raised it. It used to be 24€ including shipping, and now it's 40€. It's not worth that much at all. There are other options. I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 1, mainly because of the price. If they see that it has good reviews, they raise the price sky-high
I used it to sand kitchen cabinets to repaint them a different color. This is the first sander I have used and I was very satisfied. I completed my work very quickly and effectively. It has strong vibrations but I suppose that is to be expected. I believe that more or less all sanders are like this. I am uploading a photo of the kitchen where the upper cabinets were done with the sander and painted, and the lower ones are with the old color. The result is amazing. And the sander definitely played a big role. Because the most important job to paint a piece of furniture is the proper sanding
I wanted to scrub some kitchen pans. It removes the oil and you don't have to do any work. I have successfully done this specific job with another scrubber. Honestly, it's not worth it.
In 2 years, it broke after the internal plastics cracked. If you also want to develop neurological problems, flaws for your whole life, get it. When it works, it vibrates the whole hand, which is destructive for the nerves.
Positive:
1. Sturdy construction
2. Easy to change the papers and find them easily
3. It sucks up the dust and doesn't make a mess
4. It doesn't have strong vibrations to tire your hand
Negative:
1. It doesn't have as much power as I expected. I tried to scrape a wall with mediocre results. It was relatively good on wood, but still, I wasn't satisfied.
Well, after a few uses of the machine for amateur tasks, the conclusion is very positive for the work it does. Firstly, it is reliable and has no problem working for several hours. Its power is sufficient, although it does not have intensity control, but that's okay. Its power is enough for amateur tasks. It is convenient in its grip and quite lightweight. The system for changing sandpaper is very easy. Considering its price and the work it does, it is very good. That's it
The best thing, guys, for amateur use, it grinds just fine for its price, it does the job, the noise and vibrations are nothing. You also get its big brother, which is also very good, and you're all set. - EINHELL TC-BS 8038 Belt Sander 800 W
I got it to sand 2 worn wooden floors and it performed perfectly, with velcro sandpaper grits 80 and 100 the job was done and it reached the wood.. I pushed it quite hard but luckily nothing happened.. However, you can feel its vibrations.
I bought it for use on walls in the house but also for furniture whenever needed, etc. It is very lightweight, it doesn't have vibrations that tire you out, and even though I weigh 50 kilos, I was able to sand the balcony wall, which was in bad condition, without getting tired at all. I finished a job in 1 hour that would usually take me the whole afternoon by hand. Very good. I highly recommend it.
I had bought another one of these before, but it burned out in 6 months.
I didn't send it for warranty (it was inside) because I literally tore it apart.
I scrubbed an entire studio apartment (walls and many other things) in one month.
But with a twenty-dollar bill, it did just fine.
It's amateur and very good value for money.
I received it today and used it for 6 hours of continuous work. It's great that it's a good purchase. Hopefully, it will continue like this because in the past, I had trouble with a similar product from the same company that broke within half an hour. Even though they repaired it for me, it broke again in half an hour and I threw it away.
@ 4-6-18 It continues unstoppable. Today it cleaned a couch, literally licked it. I blew it well and put it back in its box. It earned its money in 10 uses, I would say.
Quite good, especially for its price, I repeat we must know what we are buying.. at 20 euros, its price is just right for amateur or semi-professional work.. it makes a little more noise but it's okay.. it does its job quite well and if you push it a little harder and press it on top, it eats the wood faster although you will have to give it a longer break afterwards...
Extra information, when working with it, it has better results only on the edges, it just eats the sandpaper faster
Very good and powerful 'machine', it has the ability to accept both stickers and sandpaper which it does not cut on the edges. If it had adjustable friction intensity, it would be perfect.
I have it now for two months! I make some small chairs for the house and I've been using it constantly all this time. The tool for the money I spent is very good. Small, easy to use, powerful, it makes a little more noise but it has a compact construction and you think you have a bigger tool. For hobbyists, it is just what you need and for the money, I think it is a very good choice. You should know that everything has limits, even the very expensive ones. Proper use makes the tool reliable.
