The watch is a jewel! It is the most beautiful thing there is! Quality on another level and functionally flawless. Compared to the Apple Watch that I also have, it lacks compatibility in some functions with the iPhone but that is logical. It is a steal for what it offers. The equivalent Apple Watch costs 1000€ +
Very good especially for the health programs it has quite good. 10/8/24 complete disappointment after 6 months it showed a white screen it doesn't connect to the phone I'm sending it for service it comes back in 2 weeks all good for a week again the same I sent it back again I requested a refund to buy another watch too bad I don't know if I'm that lucky.
Someone said that in the sea it broke down.. I bought this one the first day it was released in Greece. I wear it non-stop 24/7 except when it charges once every 7-14 days depending on usage. It also charges super fast. Regarding the sea, I have done over 30 swims with the watch on my wrist, and I tested it to check the depth gauge at 2-3 meters (I am not a diver). Even in the shower with hot water where I shouldn't, I have forgotten to take it off, the same when washing dishes. The watch has taken some good hits. There is no scratch visible, it works flawlessly.
Be careful, with Wi-Fi on the battery lasts only 3-4 days. If you turn off Wi-Fi and leave Bluetooth on, then over a week. Otherwise, an excellent watch
Excellent watch, it has everything.
I would prefer longer battery life, which lasts about 7 days with continuous use and about 1-2 times a week of sports activities.
The main reason I bought it was clearly because I was impressed by the name space edition.... I also hoped, while I knew deep down, but I didn't look into it further.... That the NFC would work.... anyway. Compared to the GT2 I had, the usage I make is exactly the same. To see who is calling me and to answer when I can't take out my phone. Other than that..... How many times can you measure oxygen levels etc.... How many times will you see steps and distances? I was thinking of at least putting in an eSIM.... Maybe I would enjoy this feature..... but I would lose battery life and would be disappointed if it died in one day. From the four it is now in normal operation. Also.... in normal operation, I can't silence the phone when I'm being called like I did and got used to with the GT2.... I sent to support but nothing.... No help. In the end, I discovered that if I put it in power-saving mode.... then the silencing works..... Whatever.
This is the second Huawei watch (the other was 2-3 years ago). And both do not withstand the sea even though both watches have a program for open water. After swimming, it drains water and then it's done. Fortunately, it was under warranty, so I sent it for repair. Generally, it's good, with features that are not available in most watches, but anyone involved in water sports should be cautious. It is September 23rd and the watch is still "UNDERGOING TECHNICAL INSPECTION" since August 23rd. Besides being a piece of junk (even though it costs over 400 euros), it also has terrible service. I remind you that I still have another Huawei wreck that under warranty could not withstand seawater twice (swimming, not diving) and after 2 free services, it broke down a third time and I abandoned it

Does anyone know of any genuine rubber straps or even better quality ones that I can find? The watch is very nice, but the metal clasp is not suitable for exercising/running
Simply the best smartwatch in the world.
Garmin will lose in elegance and smartwatch functions. They may match some in battery life, but they simply limit their functions to a pedometer. Some have superior accuracy in indoor running on a treadmill. The watch4pro, however, corrects and gradually learns your gait. The Huawei Health app is equivalent in health indicators and more readable, especially in combination with the brand's scale, health reports are superior for non-athletes.
The Apple Ultra is clumsy and very sporty for some occasions, with tragically inferior battery life and many functions locked behind monthly subscriptions. Especially on a man's wrist with a suit, it's completely out of place. Unfortunately, there is no option that doesn't look like a plastic toy or a worker/farmer's watch. Huawei beat Apple in electrocardiogram, atherosclerosis index, oxygen saturation, and blood sugar measurement, they even blow them away, losing in everything, despite poaching staff from other companies.
As a doctor, I would say that no one should rely on non-medical equipment operated by health professionals. The only thing watches can detect is some arrhythmia. Heart rate is different, blood pressure is different, the distribution of electrical waves in the heart muscle is different. Without electrodes, the data collected by all smartwatches is unreliable.
Samsung Gear, Pixel, etc. don't even last a day just showing the time (always on). You are permanently stuck with a blank black screen and if you go somewhere for a few hours, you run out of battery. The only thing they have to offer is contactless payments with GPay, which now require you to enter a pin on the watch screen, eliminating the ease of one-handed payment. It's much easier, functional, and safe to do it with your mobile phone, which you have with you anyway. It's a shame to say they do more when they can't even last a day with the basic function of a watch. The OnePlus watch that lasts 100 hours is perhaps the superior choice, surpassing the Apple Ultra, but using a Huawei that lasts weeks, all seem like gimmicks.
Huawei is perhaps the most elegant one out there, only threatened by Homestavla, for example, the Ultimate, which is for diving but doesn't have half the features of the Watch GT 4, which is 2-3 times cheaper, with a 40% smaller battery, 10-15% less accuracy in measurements, and a narrower range of functions.
I have tried many before and after, I pre-ordered it, nothing can compare to it at all. I agree that its major drawback is call management in an environment with simultaneous use of another medium (car speaker, Bluetooth headphones), which is mainly a problem of Google that doesn't allow us to set our own priorities.
Payments are made with difficulty, transferring money and with prepaid cards.

Having it for 6 months, I can say that the positive aspects are that it is a beautiful watch with a very good screen and design. On the negative side, it scratches easily and is not at all durable. Finally, I would like to add that whoever buys it should have Android, under no circumstances iPhone, because the connectivity with Apple is nonexistent

The watch is fantastic and mainly beautiful! Having changed many smartwatches (galaxy watch 5 pro, Apple watch ultra (when I had an iPhone), Garmin Fenix 7, Epix, etc.) without analyzing the weaknesses of each one, I ended up with this one because it is the best value for money for what it offers. So, starting with the curved sapphire crystal, it gives a very distinctive aesthetic, making it stand out from the rest, as well as the titanium body (and the bracelet as I have this specific version with the bracelet). It can be worn at the office, on a walk, and in good natural circumstances. Tested during exercise, I would say that it should have included a nylon or rubber strap in the package to stay more stable during training, as due to the bracelet, it cannot fit tightly on the wrist and slips towards the wrist, so the measurements may not be so accurate. Its connection was made with the Galaxy S23 Ultra and it is stable without disconnections and ghost notifications (this is done with one setting from the Huawei Health application so that the application does not go into standby mode by the system, so everything is fine). Also, the application (Huawei Health) can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store for Samsung mobile users. Notifications come directly to the watch and you can delete them from the watch, but unfortunately, you also have to delete them from the mobile afterwards. In the opposite case, if you go to read the notification from the mobile first or even delete it, it is also deleted from the watch. The battery with the standard mode actually lasts about 4 days with active automatic measurements for stress, heart rate, and blood oxygen, and with the ultra mode, it goes up to two weeks or so depending on usage. The sleep function is accurate in terms of hours and extremely detailed in the various stages during sleep. It supports e-sim, but I haven't tried it yet. Personally, I'm not concerned about the lack of NFC payment (although the watch has NFC) because I pay contactlessly with my mobile, and you can handle Spotify with a corresponding application on the watch (only control). So if it supported Google apps and contactless payments, for me, it would be the most complete smartwatch at the moment, but no smartwatch is perfect in everything at the moment, and it is up to each individual to make compromises according to their budget, of course.
Positives: Beautiful, nice screen, easy connection, has all the necessary applications. Accepts and makes calls.
Negatives: Average touch, generally lags and drags in navigation, mediocre battery (but I've only had it for 3 days). Speaker volume is much lower compared to Apple Watch 7.
