Sensor that measures glucose every minute and stores data every 15 minutes, without requiring calibration with finger pricks. Accurately monitor your glucose levels and check your glucose with a painless scan instead of pricking. The CGM continuous glucose monitoring system is available for adults and children with diabetes aged 4 and over.
The sensor is placed on the upper back part of the arm easily and painlessly for up to 14 days.
You receive your glucose data automatically every minute on your mobile phone, without finger pricks.
The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors incorporate optional low and high glucose alerts (alarms).
Excellent overall accuracy - even at low glucose levels, where it matters most.

It is the best, as long as you connect it to your mobile phone to automatically send measurements via Bluetooth every minute! Lower the price so that everyone can afford it!
I was using it for preventive reasons during pregnancy. You have to hold it with your nails and teeth to keep it on for 14 days on your arm. Tragic!!! If it comes off at 10 days, that's fine... But when it happens at 3-5-7 days, you start to stop throwing away €60. What they say about indications of hypoglycemia is true if you happen to lie on your arm at night.
The product is worth it, guys, so you don't have to poke yourself all the time. Get this one with the measuring device, not the mobile one; it works better, and whenever you want, you can bring it close to the sensor and measure your blood sugar. The only downside is the 15 days, and okay, it has a slight deviation from the blood by 15-20 units lower. To prevent it from coming off your hand, use a TEGADERM sticker or whatever else you want; it's waterproof and the sensor doesn't come off at all.
I don't know how someone can give this device 1 star, really. It is a revolution in the life of every diabetic and additionally provided to type 1 diabetics completely free of charge by the EOPYY. If you don't know how to apply it correctly to last 14 days, just watch a tutorial video on YouTube. My husband has been using it for over a year and his life has completely changed. He uses the Libre 2, which automatically sends data to the app on his phone, and immediately informs him of his blood sugar levels, sends a notification with sound if his blood sugar drops or rises, and you can set it up however you want. It is also connected to the doctor who monitors him and automatically sends the data it collects to the doctor.
You should definitely try it, and from our personal experience, it deserves all 5 stars.
Update: don't lie on it, don't crush it with your weight, e.g., don't lie on the side where I wear it, because it shows hypoglycemia because it doesn't send a signal.
The application was made by a pathologist. I took care of it diligently, I wore a protective cover when I showered, and I always wore a strong adhesive on top to ensure it didn't move from its position.
However, as mentioned by previous users, it seems practically impossible for it to stay on for 14 days. I don't know what more someone could do. It lasted for 7 days for me. I would not recommend it. If it can't last for 14 days, don't advertise it this way.
Although perfect as an idea, it's what they say "too good to be true"... From the first day, it came off at one point and I had to tape it down with medical tape to keep it from falling off. The measurements were all over the place. It woke me up every morning with a hypoglycemia alert, and when I cross-checked with another meter, I was 30 points higher. The only usefulness might be just an opinion on the sugar curve, without paying attention to the numbers, but to the curve itself. But still, I can't trust it. For its excessive price, I won't even discuss it...
In 5 days, I wore 2 devices on both arms to check their accuracy. I have gestational diabetes, fortunately, I didn't wear it from the start and had a finger device to monitor it. But honestly, the readings were at least 20 units off every time, always higher. I would have fallen into insulin without reason or cause. Keep this in mind!!
It does what it says. For 14 continuous days of glucose measurements. Very useful for those who want to measure their glucose accurately.
This machine is dangerous, on the second day it showed me 50-40-lo while I had normal. I wasted 60 euros, do not trust it at all...
I don't know if I came across a defective product, but the measurements had over 10% difference (and 20%) compared to the blood measurement. I'm not talking about periods of sugar increase or decrease where it is obvious since there is a 10-minute delay from the blood measurement, but I'm talking about periods where there was no change event and the values should coincide.
I was constantly experiencing hypoglycemia... especially at night if you made the mistake of squeezing it during sleep.. I may have received a defective one.. but I have used at least 10 sensors without any particular problem of the libre 1. The measurements, however, are not the same as the blood sugar meter in general but you learn that there is a deviation of around 30 units above the meter and you act accordingly.. If the price was affordable it would be very helpful especially for T2 who are not covered by insurance
If you make the mistake of activating the sensor with your mobile phone, then you cannot take measurements with the Abbott device afterwards.
We have been satisfied with the Abbott Freestyle Libre 2. Statistically, I should mention that out of the approximately 12 sensors, one was defective but the company replaces defective products.
The deviations from the actual values are very small, around 6-7%.
Except for the first sensor I wore, the next 3 were defective. Either they constantly showed hypoglycemia, or they displayed completely random values, or they didn't work at all. It should be noted that I didn't place them myself, but with the help of my doctor.
