Description

The innovative Maxtra filter cartridge from Brita provides up to 4 weeks and 100 liters of fresh, filtered water. Its ion exchanger reduces salts (carbonate hardness) and certain metals, such as lead and copper. The activated carbon reduces substances that can affect the smell and taste, such as chlorine and chlorine compounds (where present).

Details

  • The enhanced MAXTRA Plus (+) filter contains naturally sourced activated carbon microspheres, resulting in greater reduction of chlorine and improving the taste of tap water.
  • The enhanced MAXTRA Plus (+) filter contains ion exchange beads, resulting in greater reduction of calcium and metals such as lead and copper.
  • Reduces the deposition of salts and substances such as chlorine, which affect the taste and odor of water.
  • Protects well-being by reducing levels of metals such as lead and copper that may be present in your water.
  • Thanks to the natural MicroporelFilter and the powerful ProtectFilter, impurities and other substances are removed or reduced during water processing.

Usage Instructions

  • Ideally, you should store the BRITA water cartridges in a cool place, for example, in the refrigerator. You should also make sure that the cartridge is not stored in direct sunlight and you should use the water in the cartridge within one day.
  • The lifespan of a MAXTRA filter depends on the quality of the water in the area, such as its hardness.
  • The MAXTRA filters up to 100 liters of water in areas with hard water (based on the hardness of carbonate salt always between 12° and 14.5°).
  • To ensure maximum performance of the filter, it is recommended to change the MAXTRA replacement filter from BRITA every 4 weeks.

The result is bad water and high cost due to constant changes. Water filters should have the following characteristics in my opinion:
    - Size 10'' (above or below the counter if there is no space)
    - Filtration capacity of 0.5 micron to retain microorganisms, chemicals, microplastics.
    **With 10€, an annual filter of 3000 liters can be purchased (personally, I change it every 6 months for safety).
