It is easily cleaned, requires minimal maintenance, and does not deteriorate over time. From an aesthetic point of view, its neutral color allows it to be placed in any kitchen without negatively affecting the decor.

The placement is inset, meaning it is recessed into the countertop and its lip protrudes. It is the easiest and most common placement for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, and there are simply some support points on the bottom for stabilization. The sealing is achieved with insulating material, such as silicone, which is placed around the opening, below the lip. The main practical disadvantage of inset sinks is the lip, which makes cleaning difficult and does not allow water that falls on the countertop to be wiped directly into the sink.
