Digital precision scale 500g, with aluminum casing.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The accuracy is proportional to the cost. If you look at the photos, there are some differences from the exact weight of the euro coins, which is justifiable if one considers that I used circulated coins (with wear, etc.). However, I didn't like that the same coin weighed a different weight in consecutive measurements or that the sum of the weights of 2 coins did not correspond to the measured weight of the 2 coins (i.e. a 10 cent coin weighing 4.07g together with a 10 cent coin weighing 4.11g did not give 8.18g but 8.16g).
The differences are small and I used the built-in batteries. For everyday measurements (e.g. coffee), it's fine, but if someone wants high accuracy and repeatability at this cost, they probably won't find it.
P.S. I tried to weigh the same coin at different points, there was no significant deviation (maybe 0.01g in some angles).
I can't upload any more photos, there is a limit, but 5 coins were tested and some combinations were tried.
The exact weights can be found on the Central Bank's website, Wikipedia, and elsewhere
Unfortunately, while it weighs larger quantities well, it is not accurate to two decimal places as it claims, for smaller quantities. Often, it doesn't even register when I add material on it. I will have to get another scale for my needs.
No matter the price, it should do what it promises: Measure accurately!
As for the "Professional" in the title, I simply laugh.
In no way does it measure accurately at the milligram level. It can display the same quantity as 0.05 and then show zero shortly after. Additionally, when you gradually add weight, it jumps 2-3 milligrams without measuring in between, while many times the weight fluctuates on its own. 1-2 mg.
Good scale externally when you see it but you have to find exactly the point to weigh correctly. It will give different measurements if you touch something on the bottom side, and different measurements on the top. You need to find the center of it
Wonderful. I would like a little more maximum weight but there are others for that. This is mainly for smaller quantities like coffee and baking ingredients at home.
I calibrated it many times with a 500gr precision weight because as soon as it turns on it reads 0.00gr and within a second it weighs by itself 0.09 and goes up to 0.16. Honestly, terrible accuracy, fake
The truth is that it loses minimally in measurements (0.02-0.04) depending on where you place what you want. For me, this minimal deviation doesn't matter. Besides the price, one positive aspect is that it doesn't require round batteries, I had different ones and spent more on batteries than the scale itself cost. If you place it in the center, you won't have issues with deviations as long as it doesn't have additional protruding points, for example a handle to hold it. If you cut it and use it as a cup, you won't have any issues. If you want it for food, as long as the bowl you place on top is approximately the same size and as central as possible, you won't have issues. 4 stars because I would have liked it to have a slightly larger surface.
It is very good and high-quality and worth the money it costs. The four stars are because it lacks consistency in its accuracy. I weigh the same amount of coffee and sometimes it doesn't give the exact same weight as the previous time. However, for the use I make of it (weighing coffee), it does its job perfectly fine.
It arrived and only one button works... I'm not returning it, it's not worth the extra hassle financially
You can't call it quality construction, the plastic frame on the screen/buttons on mine is completely loose.
There are no crazy deviations in accuracy in various points of the scale, if someone wants real accuracy, they should probably go up a category.
The size may not be convenient because it is quite big.
For its price, it's fine.
Very good scale with great accuracy, the only negative thing that made it lose 1 star is that the batteries it came with were useless and that the screen does some weird things when pressed lightly, which makes me worry that it might break or something. But if I don't touch it, it works perfectly fine. Overall, perfect for its price
For its price, it is very good. I use it amateurishly for producing handmade cosmetics. The negative is that indeed when you pour excessively small quantities, for example in powder form or a drop of essential oil, it gets confused (I'm talking about quantities that may be below 0.01 or at the limit, and that's why it seems like it captures them or doesn't capture them). Overall, for its price, it is the best solution. I have had it for two years and have not had any issues so far.
"*One of the best three scales I've had for my job... Besides being powerful in its work, it is reliable in weighing anything I want, and I would recommend choosing it with 1000 and at a very good price, my friends!!! Scorpio...*"
I work in a café and have been using it for years to weigh coffee, water, etc. We're talking about many measurements daily. It's reliable, with very small deviations that are negligible. For its price, it's the best. And its size is very convenient.
I have experience in manual weighing of materials with a weight of 3 digits below 0, and I have noticed that during the weighings, they usually did not show the same weight. I consider it to be a very good scale for amateur use. Like all scales of similar accuracy, it requires careful placement of the material to be weighed exactly in the center of the weighing platform, absolute cleanliness, and exclusion of possible natural interferences, such as air.
It is the third time I am buying it and this shows that I am very satisfied. The previous two times it broke due to my own mistake, as liquids fell on it. It has a slight deviation in weighing, 0.1 g, on the front side compared to the left, right, top, and center (which have the same measurement), and this happened after a while. I used the first two for over 2.5 years and for its price (5.5 euros) I recommend it without a second thought.
For the money, it's an excellent choice. I don't have a reference point to evaluate its accuracy, but for household use, it's super. I use it for weighing spices/herbs.
The one I received was useless. On the top part, negative grams -1.5. On the bottom, 7 grams. One of those classic rubbish produced by the Chinese. It's not even worth returning for 6 euros due to shipping costs. It doesn't work as a coaster, it's thick. In the press and recycling...
I have bought more than 5 scales, I brought them from Italy by myself because it is the most important tool for me. It weighs gold, etc. metals and coins, I am completely satisfied. On the same day I ordered this one, I bought a similar one with the same characteristics, I used it for 1 week until this one arrived and then I left it in its box. Since then, it hasn't opened again, no batteries, no screws, nothing! While with this one, I have been using it for 3 years and I have no complaints. With €4, I have made its money back and many more zeros! I recommend it to you. Of course, it also needs some care in order to give the perfect result. Good batteries every month, clean and clean as many areas as possible, but never the drink areas. Do not touch the screws it has underneath for calibration, you will ruin it. That's how I ruined almost all the previous ones.
Cheap and reliable scale.
After 2.5 years of professional use, unfortunately it broke due to my own mistake.
I bought it directly from the store. The plastic panel that surrounds the screen and keys was partially detached, so I pressed it myself to reposition it. The weighing plate is unevenly placed. It has a material like a membrane, greenish-blue in color, and slightly torn at the corners. I thought maybe it was just for transportation, but it doesn't seem to come off. It looks good when weighing, although it fluctuates by a hundredth of a gram, but we don't expect much at this price.
I have the worst opinion about this scale. Apart from the fact that I had to calibrate it by weighing about 500 grams on another scale and use them as a reference point for accurate weighing, it broke after one week of use. It permanently shows 0.00. It turns on, but no matter what you touch, it doesn't show anything other than 0.00. Is it really so difficult to produce a good precision scale without it costing 40 euros?
It does its job economically and is convenient, but it doesn't seem very high quality and you need to aim for the center for better accuracy.
Very good scale, I use it for weighing coffee, always gives me the same measurement on the scale. Very satisfied
Good, for its price it's excellent I would say, if the TARE function worked. I saw that others also pointed out that it doesn't work. It's a shame. It would be helpful.
Small, expensive, economical. Its use is for the preparation of e-cigarette liquids, where precision in dosages is required.
It does not press well, it has a small difference in measurements of about 0.02-0.05 gr. It shows a weight for calibration in the images on the box but it does not include it.
Only the buttons look fake.
Otherwise, it is very good.
Worth it.
Update after 1 year.
It died... Dead...
I bought the same one again.
Tip!
On the back, under the sticker, there are 2 screws. If the weighing base starts to shake, they have loosened.
Mediocre choice for weighing coins where high accuracy is required. The fact that it does not sit steadily reduces the reliability of the results, in fact, mine has the platform eccentrically positioned, which made a very bad impression on me in terms of quality and assembly. In the euro coin weighing test, it showed significant differences from coin to coin (some upwards and some downwards). I would like there to be a calibration weight included, but I guess I'm asking for too much at this price.
Unfortunately, the bottom part is not aligned, either one of its legs is smaller and it wobbles. I will try to put my own legs and see if it is fixed. I also measured it with coins and I have the following results:
0.02€ 3gr (official weight 3.06gr)
0.05€ 3.91gr (official weight 3.92gr)
0.1€ 4.09gr (official weight 4.1gr)
0.5€ 7.8gr (official weight 7.8gr)
1€ 7.51gr (official weight 7.5gr)
I bought it at the final price of 10.5€ (including shipping). I use it for weighing espresso coffee, so it is sufficient for me as it is. It lost the fifth star due to the stability issue.
Very good! It has helped me with weighing spices. It sometimes loses accuracy and other times the numbers play on their own when it's supposed to be 0, but considering the job it does and the price, it's okay.
Just received the scale and it is indeed larger than I expected, without it being negative, of course it does not fit in the pocket for any reason.
I tested it with two coins, a 2€ (8.5g) and a 0.02€ (3.06g) and its accuracy is spot on at 0.01gr!!
For smaller sizes and if it holds up over time, I don't know, but whatever comes up, I will come back.
5 stars, value for money from me.
