Open ear with a good fit. They don't fall out and have good sound!
Positives
1. Design and fit. They are the first headphones I wear while sleeping and they don't bother me.
2. Very good sound, clear and with the bass needed!
3. Connection and fit are super easy with correct battery indicators!
4. Connects in 1-2 seconds as soon as you open the case!
5. ANC quite good for open ear!
Negatives
1. The headphones don't come out of the case easily with one hand.
2. During calls, while you hear clearly and they hear you clearly, it doesn't significantly cut external sounds, resulting in them passing through to your conversation partner! It's a shame because they are headphones that cost 20 euros.
Overall, they are good headphones and worth their price at around 100 euros!
The touch button does not work in 100% of cases, resulting in me pressing it several times and eventually closing the line. I expected much better quality for the amount of money I paid.
I bought the Huawei FreeBuds 5 and have been using them for almost 3 months now...
Before I had the Huawei FreeBuds 4 (see my relevant review) and I wanted to upgrade again with an "open fit" pair of headphones...
So the comparison will be between these two headphones...
1. Their sound is even better than the sound of the Huawei FreeBuds 4.
2. They hear you exceptionally well when you're on a phone call!!!!
3. The active noise cancellation (ANC) is much better than the Huawei FreeBuds 4, but still overall not as efficient as in-ear headphones (e.g. Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3) which is logical since the Huawei FreeBuds 5 are open-fit.
4. Connecting to my Samsung Galaxy S2... my phone is done in 2 seconds!
5. Their battery lasts about 3.5 hours with Noise Cancellation activated.
6. Something very important. If your ears get tired or hurt with all in-ear headphones, then confidently buy the open-fit Huawei FreeBuds 5.
7. Finally, you can take the headphones off comfortably, without any hassle...
8. They connect simultaneously to 2 devices. So you can listen to music from both devices without having to do anything. Just press play...
9. The design may slightly sour... I would also prefer the bottom part of the headphones that looks like a drop to be a little thinner...

So you can download it in 2 ways.
Way 1. You will download the Huawei App Gallery from the Huawei website (it's Huawei's "Google Play Store") and after creating an account within the app, you can download the Huawei AI Life app.
Way 2. You will go directly to the Huawei website for Huawei AI Life and download the Huawei AI Life app directly, without downloading the Huawei App Gallery.
Once the app is downloaded, you will install it without needing to create an account and you are ready to add your headphones.

The woman had three and lost one. I decided to buy Huawei again since it is reliable and fortunately, it was worth it! It is expensive but it is worth its money.
Much better than my expectations and at a very good price for what they offer. Initially, their case is very convenient, you can have it in your pocket and it doesn't bother you at all, it is very lightweight. The earphones themselves fit very well in the ears, and you almost forget that you are wearing them. Very good sound quality and long battery life. As for the positives, the design, which generally seems important to me in products. They have a futuristic style, I chose them in silver which I believe is the nicest. I also have the Apple AirPods 2 Pro, and I find the Huawei ones more convenient in everyday life. They have better battery life and a better fit in my ears.
To begin with, I have to say that before I had the freebuds 4 and before those the freebuds 3. So the 5 are better in everything compared to the 4, with higher sound intensity, better quality when listening to music (with more noticeable bass), and finally the ANC isolates much better. Overall, they are definitely worth what they ask for, since I compared them to the AirPods 3 and except for the fact that Apple has slightly higher sound intensity, they definitely lose out because they don't have ANC.
Extremely good headphones, especially for conversations, for music they are good and will satisfy the ear. The noise isolation from the environment during conversations is very good, something that most Bluetooth devices either do not have as a function or do not work properly. I do not use the active noise cancellation, I find it annoying and unnecessary.
I was looking for "open ear" headphones (because I don't like the ones that "plug" into the ear) that have somewhat better sound and noise cancelling, and I must admit that they prove to be one of the most unexpectedly good purchases I have made. I have the silver ones which are a bit unusual in color and shape (given that the eye is accustomed to black and white like Apple), but they are excellent overall. Very easy connection with more than one device, excellent sound quality, and - from what I have used them so far - very good call quality as well. The noise cancelling definitely does the job, but not as well as headphones that go inside the ear (obviously). The battery hasn't bothered me so far, the headphones outside the case last about 2-3 hours with music, but they charge lightning fast in the case (in 5-10 minutes they are fully charged).
Their fit is quite good, although in my ears they don't fit completely, resulting in them coming out with a sudden movement (e.g. sideways or bending down). However, a tip is to get a set of ear fins from well-known Chinese stores, which fit like cases to "hold" them inside the ear, dramatically improving the fit, they won't come out at all afterwards.
Design/Fit: Got the Silver Frost, and the colour is awesome - funnily enough, several colleagues who saw them over video calls complimented and asked about them. :) They fit perfectly, don't slip easily, and are very lightweight to the point that it's easy to forget you're wearing them.
Connectivity: They can connect to more than one device at the same time (in my case phone and laptop), very quickly. No lags or delays, which was a problem I used to face with the Freebuds 3. HOWEVER, and this is the main reason I rated it 4 stars, the connectivity gets choppy when I move further away from the laptop (i.e. sound start to cut up). With my older Freebuds 3, I literally have changed floors and they stayed connected to the laptop.
Sound Quality: Here, I would give it 6 stars, not 5. The sound quality is ****ing AMAZING and totally immersive. Added value is the ability to control the volume (up/down) by moving your finger on the earbud, without actually having to change it from the device to which it's connected.
Noise Cancelling: The noise-cancelling function is available, and can be activated through a long press on the earbud, but it creates too much pressure on my ears and I personally hate it, so I cannot rate the functionality. However, what I can rate is that they do not transmit noise from the surrounding environment. For example, on several occasions I've had someone making a frappe next to me while on a call, and it did not create any disruptions (or at least the other party made no comments, xaxaxa).
Battery: EXCELLENT. It lasts for quite a long time (several hours of online meetings per week, as well as using it to play music on walks), and they don't even need to be recharged weekly!

I was coming from the Freebuds 4 which lasted 2 years (I lost one in the first year and was left with one for the remaining year)
1) They are better in every way than the previous ones, it will just take a little getting used to their shape until someone trusts it. It doesn't go anywhere at least in my ear. Nice design and different.
2) The earbuds are for those who find the cushion uncomfortable even though they come with silicone tips in the package for the first time!
3) Immediate connection with a flat iPhone to Huawei phones. It simply pops up the window and pairs.
4) It allows dual connection to both a phone and a computer without cutting off one function for the other.
That is, if you are listening to music on the phone, the sound from the computer will not play. If nothing is playing, then the switching is flawless for now.
5) Battery is excellent. For music, it lasts about 3 to 4 hours. The case takes days to drain with my daily use and charges quickly
(7 hours I have one of the 2 earbuds for music and calls at work)
6) It works well with other Android and iPhone devices.
I will come back again after a while.

Their battery does not last as long as I would like. Depending on usage (talking or music), you have at most 2 hours available.
Surprisingly good headphones. Clearly they are open-back, they have ANC but clearly that is not their priority, they allow sound to pass through. Because they don't have a suction cup, on the other hand, this makes them very comfortable, especially now in the summer, you forget that you are wearing them. But having tried top headphones, such as the Sony WH-1000XM4+5, Samsung Buds2Pro, Sony Linkbuds S K, but at twice the price, these headphones have much higher call quality, especially in noisy environments, next to the road and when it's windy, no other headphones have performed so well in calls! It is a field that I now consider the most important in mobile headphones and unfortunately reviews either don't cover it at all or don't properly test it
Purchased on 02/05/23 for 159 euros. The comparison will be with the airpods 3 and not with the pro because they are tws earphones and the competition in this category is huge. Comparable to the airpods except for the power in sound, design, sound quality, battery life, battery charging speed for seminars. Ideal for android devices, personally I use them on the 22 ultra and x80pro. The avc for the category data is also very good and the open fit design is definitely impressive. The reliability of Huawei is a given for me and I confidently recommend them for purchase through Skroutz.
