Obviously, the only reason it was purchased was because of Bob's playfulness and the fact that it takes up little space on the counter. Except for the fact that for the first few uses it smelled like burnt rubber or cable and we had to endure it until it stopped, now it's decent. We used to take it out on the balcony to burn off the smell, but it took several times. It is small, so it is ergonomic. Bob comes out relatively okay on toast. The main negative is that the plates do not detach for better cleaning.
