I bought it to connect 1 Laptop, 1 Computer Monitor, and a Gaming Desktop. So far, it seems to be working perfectly.
I chose this one because it is Philips, and I have been very satisfied with their products in the past, as they are a very high-quality company. Of course, you can find much cheaper alternatives, but they won't have the reputable name of Philips.
One of the major positives that surprised me is that the plugs it has don't require much force to connect or disconnect something. The packaging also states that it can protect devices worth up to 50,000 euros. I don't know how this warranty works, but I consider it more of a statement about the product's quality than anything else.
The power strip pulled a tremendous load (a landline phone) and burned out. In the store's opinion, I have the problem because in the same socket with another older power strip there is a computer, a monitor, and the same landline phone which logically should have generator consumption to burn out such a good power strip.
Very good construction, it does exactly what it should (and what the manufacturer describes). It has an overall very pleasant appearance, making it visually unobtrusive if placed in a common view position. The distances between its outlets are relatively large, making it easy to insert and remove plugs, even if the surrounding outlets are already occupied. At the same time, the holes for the outlets are angled, which helps even more. However, in some cases, such as with somewhat large transformers (the kind that plug directly into the socket), smart plugs, etc., overlapping with adjacent outlets cannot be avoided. Personally, I really enjoyed it as a power strip and I recommend it. It may seem somewhat expensive to some, but it is not, as it is classically superior in construction (and therefore much safer) than the very cheap power strips on the market.
Very nice safety power strip. This is the second one I am buying. What I liked about this model, compared to the previous one I had from APC, is that the sockets have a more convenient layout, it has a "softer" switch, because the hard switch on the previous one sometimes "stuck" a bit in the middle, resulting in sparks (arc), and finally it also has automatic shutdown in case the protection is not working.
After 20 days of use, it does its job without surprises. I chose it because of the longer cable compared to the competing models (2 m. when the others were around 1.5 to 1.8, and barely fit me...)
