Amazing bag that doesn't make noise with the wheels and you don't struggle to carry it. The fabric is very nice and it looks well-made! I will come back in a year to say what happened after the wear and tear of elementary school!

I agree with the comments about its weight. It is really quite heavy without books inside. My daughter, who is petite, couldn't handle it. At the bookstore, they emphasized this to me and suggested a different, cheaper one that would suit the child. I do not recommend it for first graders at all.

We like the bag, it has compartments and is sturdy but it is very heavy even when empty. I don't believe it is suitable for first and second grade.
