Good evening from me too! Owner of a female Yorkie, 10 months old, weighing 3.200kg.
I started my puppy on Acana Puppy Small breed until the age of 9 months. She ate the daily amount, but without much appetite and I had concluded that she is a picky eater as a dog. Okay. That's not a problem!
At the age of 9 months, I decided to change her food and get her Harper and bone Ocean with fish. Mostly for a change in taste and because of the fish for her coat. It also has different flavors so that the dog doesn't get bored of the same kibble.
The cost of the food doesn't bother me. I need 2 kilos per month, so it's a small inconvenience.
Reading the ingredients (I always do), I found that it is a very high-quality food. I also discussed it with the breeder as well as with the food dealer.
The dog finishes her portion in 1 minute.
Her coat is soft, I haven't seen any difference (that's why I waited almost 1.5 months before evaluating) and her waste is fine. They don't even leave any oil. The food suited her very well.
Overall, it is a value-for-money food, it loses a bit in packaging, which ultimately is not what matters to me.
2 kilos of Acana cost 25€, 2 kilos of Harper cost 14€. I emphasize that it is not the price that interests me but the quality of the kibble and the appetite of the dog.
In conclusion, I recommend it and will continue using it! If anything changes, I will come back!!!
Thank you
