The connecting shafts (dowels) to the chair base are made of high-quality steel, while the other metal parts of the caster are made of aerospace-grade steel. The bearing is high-quality ABEC 9 type.
The rim of the caster is made of hard nylon plastic, specially designed for such applications. The wheel is made of transparent elastic polyurethane that surrounds the rim.
The product does not require any special maintenance except for cleaning the casters and removing any hair that may have accumulated on the rolling axles.
Replacing the casters is easy without tools. Pull the old casters from the chair base and remove them. Then, insert the new replacement casters by pushing the pin into the socket until it locks.
