Approximately 8 months of casual use, almost never on the mountain, only on asphalt!!!! If you believe they are worth it, okay, it is the third
Waterproof, warm in the cold, very good grip on mountain, dirt, snow. However, with the first heat, the foot gets hot. Also, the sole melts relatively easily.
The sole melted relatively quickly. It is definitely not suitable for summer wear. I would say they are nice but heavy. They are more suitable for mountain use.
They are very durable, they don't break easily but they are also heavy. They tire you out in standing position, etc. They are great for driving a motorcycle, etc. in the winter
I have had them for about a year. I can say that they are the best I have ever had (I have changed several). In outdoor activities where I use them, they have not left me any room for negative comments. They are dry in the rain, and they have very good contact with rough surfaces. As for their shape, I have good words to say. They definitely stretch a bit, but they are not at the point where others I had, where my feet were floating after a year.
I buy them for the second time. The shoe size is one size larger than my usual one. It is lightweight and very comfortable, like a sports shoe, with very good and stable ankle support. I use them in the mountains and after 6 hours of walking and fatigue to the point where my legs bend, I have felt my ankles bending on uneven ground and avoiding sprains due to the good support. Also, my feet are relaxed without any strain after prolonged use on uneven ground. However, I must point out that it is not a hard and very durable shoe and it will wear out faster when used on hard surfaces.
Terribly heavy boot... overrated because it's adidas... and the old marathons and these ones are not good for anything... not even in terms of beauty because after a while they become worn out... slippers... the sole is tiring... the seams are mediocre... and I use them normally... they don't do anything... just plain.
I have them for 6 years now and they just started to come off slightly on the side... I believe they were worth their money and more. I work 8 hours constantly outside in all weather conditions (body safe).. I will buy the same boots again... I am very satisfied.
It is good for those who work in offices and their feet do not come out of cars. For a person who works in the mountains or in muddy and dusty terrain daily, buy something better. Because they have plastic protrusions like spikes on the sole, on wet ground you will get a kilo of mud on each foot. Within 10 months, they opened by themselves at the bend (where the laces go) for no reason, resulting in the membrane being visible from the inside. The boots were purchased from a military store, in other words, the 140€ went for faith and country.
Very heavy! Each one weighs an incredible 1.1 kilos! You get tired from the weight! In the summer, it makes your leg very hot, unlike in the winter when it's perfect! They don't easily break! Although they detach around the edges, they don't lose their waterproofing! They're not goretex, but it's very difficult for them to get water from above! They're worth up to 120 euros, not more! Also, they don't slip on oil, but they don't have any certification for oil or waterproofing!
Guys, I have had these boots for almost 3 years and I'm just telling you that they are worth every penny. I wear them constantly at work (EMS) and we go everywhere, and they don't give in at all. They hardly slip anywhere and also in the summer, I don't feel my foot being hot. Also, you would think you're wearing Stan Smiths because they have the same insole. I'm thinking of getting a second pair as soon as I find a good price because I think the sole has worn down a bit. But that's normal. Compared to other boots that my colleagues wear and I have seen! I wouldn't even think of changing them... Well done, adidas.
I have been wearing them for 3 to 4 years now, with full services even for twelve hours and more, and 15 consecutive hours with chemicals on cement ships and seawater, live waves, and it didn't even get tired, it's just not non-slip anymore after so many years. We have had epic falls on oils and in general, but generally, it's a durable boot and for off-road biking, everything is fine, but it would be good to have a zipper on the side at some point for more practicality...
2nd time I buy the boots.
First time was in 2011, second time in 2020. (200 euros back then, 145 now)
Fully waterproof, in service worn, orthostasis, one star lost because the soles wore out quickly.
(I didn't wear them for 9 years, obviously!)
Maybe if they had a slightly more anatomical sole, it would be a solid five.
With frequent application of seal fat, they never let water in.
Very heavy boot, very warm, hard sole and expensive. If it wasn't from a well-known company, I don't believe it would sell even as a joke.
At 130, I would consider the value mediocre. Heavy. Mostly for indoor use, without any issues. I wouldn't buy them again, and most likely the next ones will be the super lightweight under armour.
Comfortable boot, I wear it for 6 hours every day, winter and summer, for two years now.
The downside is that the sole wears out even though it has hardly ever touched dirt, with moderate waterproofing ability.
I have a comparison measure from other boots, cheaper and more expensive ones that I have been using for many years at work.
I believe that its price is representative of its quality and for this reason it will be my first time repurchasing the same specific product
Warm, heavy, mediocre quality, and expensive. I would not buy it again nor would I recommend it. Maybe if it drops in price to 80 euros, it would be a good choice, but it doesn't justify its name.
Heavy boot, not suitable for long hours of wearing, the front part comes off within a year, it tires the foot if worn for hours, quite good for rainy weather, warm enough for winter, and not suitable for running. It is for lite situations. Those who claim to wear it for up to five years probably only walk on tiles.
I bought these specific boots in 2017 for €140 and have been wearing them every day throughout the winter since then. My conclusions are:
+ They are quite durable.
+ They are very comfortable (despite being heavy).
- They are not completely waterproof.
- They are heavy shoes.
They are relatively warm and breathable, so they don't smell.
In the summer, I would recommend a different footwear.
The sole wore out in three years, it started to come off slightly in the front after two years, but it didn't cause any problems with the shoe.
In 2021, I replaced the sole with Vibram, the leather has scratches but it hasn't worn out anywhere (except for two spots where I scratched it with the wheel while cutting iron)
It is by far the best boot, comfortable, restful, worth every penny and more... The downside to this is that it is not very waterproof, I made the mistake of putting them in a heater to dry faster and they came apart, but I enjoyed them for 5 years... I will buy these again.
For use in the city, for standing and walking up to 8 hours, it is excellent. Now, how long it lasts for each person is subjective, depending on each person's step, weight, etc. I had two pairs for 5 years each, I wore them out on my socks and they were worth every penny and more with normal wear and tear. I never had any problems with my feet or anything similar. Also, what does waterproof mean, guys? It's not a boot, not even a 300 euro one! I highly recommend it, even at this price, because a few years ago they were 200 euros.
Good boot but not as comfortable as I read. It is comfortable but not like a sports shoe as some people claim, it gave me a lot of trouble the first month. I will put different insoles because the ones that come with it are not that good. For the 140€ I paid, it is not worth it at all. It is not that waterproof, you wash off the mud it catches on top and the leather gets wet, if you pour more water it goes through normally
I think they have somewhat idolized the product, it is good but only to a certain extent.
It is good for hikes and generally for walking, with the disadvantage of being noticeably heavier compared to many others on the market.
It is not waterproof, and for the price, this is a big disadvantage.
In terms of durability, it is average. Personally, all boots due to daily use at work have a durability of around 3 years, while usually at 2 years they need some repair. So, I did not see significant differences compared to others I have tried to say that this one made a difference.
Simply put, for the money you spend, I don't think it offers enough
It was purchased in December 2015. It has been used since then as an everyday shoe in a marine environment for only five months a year (winter). During this time, the sole melted from walking and eventually the shoe's leather detached from the sole. It is relatively warm and I couldn't use it in the summer. It is comfortable to walk in, soft, and lightweight, but it wears out quickly. It is unsuitable for rough and mountainous terrain. It is expensive (purchased for €180) for what it offers. A larger size should be purchased.
Comfortable and lightweight but overpriced and not so durable for its price. I would not buy it again
It is even suitable for running, it is very lightweight and if you take care of it, it will last you many years. Good waterproofing, perfect sole, quite warm.
(Three years later) in everyday use, it hasn't suffered anything except for the sole, it has worn out, but I blame it on the fact that I am a motorcycle rider, almost the linings came off.. but after replacing them, they are like new again.
Very good boot. It lasted me around eight years of daily use. Very comfortable and its weight is not noticeable when wearing it. Perfect for cold months, but personally, I suffered during the summer. It is very warm, so I will not choose it again.
I have had it for a few months and I am very satisfied! I wear it on average 10 hours a day. Waterproof and comfortable.
20/07/2021 despite daily use, the boot is in very good condition. When the time comes to change it, I will get the same one again.
17/01/2025 daily use until today and the boots are in good condition. The sole has not come off on either of them, only small "openings" around the top of the sole but not all the way around. The front of the sole is completely worn down and less so at the back. It does not slip.
Nice boot, good grip that hugs the foot, very well-made and slightly bulky.. but it needs a size larger for this particular one, even with thin socks it was still tight in the size I wear in this brand.. I think mine was defective, one of the two boots was crooked.. when you saw both of them side by side, you could tell that the sole of one did not touch the ground.. I returned them and thankfully got my money back after communicating with them.
