Description

The K&F Concept Classic Series Slim Multicoated Circular Polarizing Filter has a diameter of 67mm and is made from multi-layer glass. It helps reduce reflections and glare by filtering light that has been polarized due to reflection from non-metallic surfaces. Light from the sun becomes partially polarized as it reflects off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter in a fog-like manner. A polarizing filter regulates and directionally filters the polarized light, allowing for the absorption of some of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction in glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increases the saturation of the sky and foliage.

The filter is made from optical glass from Japan for clarity as well as color fidelity, and features a multi-layer coating to prevent internal ghosting and reflections. It has an aluminum alloy filter ring that can be rotated to adjust the intensity of the polarizing effect. The slim design reduces the likelihood of vignetting when used with wide-angle lenses.

    The filter was placed on a 50-250mm lens on a Z50, and when you try to focus above 150, it creates a problem with focusing. Basically, it doesn't focus correctly, and even manually you can't find the point at all. I don't know if mine is defective or crooked, but it doesn't work at all. The polarization, on the other hand, is fine, but what good is that?

    The construction of it is very good. It does its job as a polarizer equally well. It eliminates most of the light reflections on glossy surfaces, which really impressed me when I first tried it, as I did not expect it to make such a difference.     - Attention* it does not work in every case, I would say it is 70-80% dependent on the direction of light.
    - The only negative thing I would say is the unscrewing, it is quite delicate and I would recommend not tightening it too much.
