Classic cream texture, personally I liked it because it provides a feeling of hydration without leaving greasiness. It absorbs just enough, but all moisturizers depend on our skin as well.
Super moisturizing cream. It does exactly what it promises at a reasonable price. Oily to combination skin can use it at night, and normal to dry skin can use it morning and night, depending on hydration needs. I have oily skin, I use it every night (after retinol cream) and in about a week the moisturizing result is visible. It has a light scent that fades quickly. I have already purchased a second package.
In the past few months, I have purchased several best-selling moisturizers with good reviews from well-known skincare companies in order to find something that suits my skin. I am 43 years old with almost dry (or dehydrated) sensitive skin and prone to acne. All of them disappointed me, either they were immediately absorbed and I felt like I hadn't put anything on, or they only moisturized for two to three hours, or they would rub off and the makeup on top wouldn't blend well. This specific one from Vichy is the best I have tried. I have been using it for about a month. So, I will mention it in detail:
- It has a rich texture like condensed yogurt (with a slightly sticky feeling that is not bothersome).
- It spreads relatively easily with a small amount.
- It provides immediate hydration and moisture that is not immediately absorbed, which is perfect for me so that I can continue with my makeup that needs this moisture.
- It is white and has a subtle citrus-like scent that I can't exactly identify, but it doesn't bother me since I avoid scented creams.
- It blends fantastically with all my makeup and concealer, as if it functions as a primer, without caking or dryness. I also use it around my eyes because of how well it blends and the good hydration it provides!
- The feeling of hydration lasts until the evening.
- The finish it leaves is a slightly satin glow that lasts for a while, which is very helpful if you are aiming for the Korean glass skin look like me.
- Not only has it not caused me pimples or clogged pores, but as I use it, it has completely minimized such issues and helped keep my face clean without acne, perhaps due to the niacinamide it contains.
- After just a few days of use, I felt my skin firmer, fuller, and finally deeply moisturized, fresh, and healthy.
- I also use it at night as a cream after retinol, alternating with another night cream from Vichy, and it works very well with that. In the morning, I wake up with moisturized and brighter skin compared to other night creams I used before.
For those of you looking for a cream that is immediately absorbed and after a minute leaves the skin silky as if you haven't put anything on, this is not it. The moisture you feel on the skin is gradually absorbed within hours and afterwards, you will feel your skin soft and moisturized for hours.
Finally, I want to mention that I have also tried the mineral 89 RICH, which is supposed to be for drier skin, but it has a different composition, is very heavy, and I do not recommend it (I have also written a review about it).
In other words, I highly recommend trying it if you have normal to dry skin.
It hydrates the skin very well! I just think that for oily skin it doesn't absorb as much as it should.. it leaves a shine on the face... however, it is a very good moisturizer.. I mainly use it at night because of the oiliness.. another good thing is that it really doesn't clog pores.. having oily, acne-prone skin, it didn't cause me any problems with pimples, etc.
Great disappointment with this moisturizer. I have combination sensitive skin and first of all, it is not moisturizing enough and does not fully absorb, even after hours of application, my skin still feels greasy. If I apply it at night and don't apply moisturizer again in the morning, my skin feels dehydrated, which probably means that it stayed on the pillow. And worst of all, I got a lot of pimples during the days I was using it, which were painful as well.
Excellent!!! I had been searching and buying creams for a long time that ended up in the trash! From the first application, the dryness disappeared from my skin! Full hydration that actually lasts for hours and days! Finally, my face has the radiance, appearance, and texture that I want!! And also, a reasonable price, which is rare for a good cream!
