You will not hear any noise in an office under normal conditions. In complete silence at home, if the laptop fans are turned off, you will hear them very quietly if you have set them to 100%. If the laptop fans turn on (tested on an HP OMEN laptop from 2020), they will cover the sound of the cooler fans.
In terms of cooling, having 4 fans covers the entire bottom surface of the laptop, so if there are air vents on the bottom side of the laptop, it will take in a lot of air. Of course, the room temperature also plays a role.
Of course, if the room temperature is above 35C, don't expect cooling, it's not a refrigerator, they are just fans...

Quite large for a good laptop base. Good airflow.
Serious flaw: something is "squeaking". I couldn't tell if it's the fans or the control circuit. I had to "play" with the speed switches up and down and give it a few slaps to "shut it up". If the squeaking didn't stop, I would return it as defective.
Secondary flaw: In the photos, it looks "richly" illuminated and impressive. Well... the LEDs it has on top are a joke and don't emit serious light. They are fireflies.

  Today I received it, very beautiful, silent base, and it looks like a very high-quality construction. The positives I found are the following:

  1. Silent
  2. Beautiful RGB lighting
  3. It really lowers the temperature quite a bit
  4. You can adjust the speed of the fans
  5. Lighting adjustment as you wish

  I highly recommend it. Note that it definitely does not fit for 17-inch laptops; it fits perfectly on my 15.6-inch laptop, and on the 17-inch one I have, it protrudes quite a bit.

  Positives: beautiful construction, nice blue lighting that is not visible when the laptop is placed on top.
  Two USB ports (one for powering the fans and the other one free)
  It has a flexible USB cable and a metal ventilation mesh.
  It also has two wheels that open the bottom fans on one side and the top ones on the other side.
  It is supposed that the wheel adjusts the fan intensity, but at least I didn't notice anything like that...
  It cools quite well, and you can feel it by putting your face close to it.
  I didn't see any noticeable temperature difference on my laptop, maybe because I recently changed the thermal paste and the fan, and it stays at a constant 50-51 degrees.
  Lastly, it is quite silent, especially if you close two out of the four fans!!!

  Now, onto the negatives... The most serious one...
  Even though it says on the packaging that it can accommodate a 17-inch laptop, it is not suitable for a 17-inch laptop... unfortunately.
  My laptop is an old refurbished HP Pavilion 9700, and in order for its rubber feet to fit into the base, I have to lower the sliding locks and push it all the way down!!!
  The second negative is that if you put the small feet from the back (for elevation) on the first level and push it slightly backward, they don't hold resistance and the base falls. (Try it if you have the product) I have bought much cheaper bases that had other issues but were much more stable against shaking and accidental pushes.
  Lastly (although some may find it funny), the user manual and warranty that accompany it...
  I was looking for Greek... I found the flag, but the letters were not Greek. Maybe they had Nikos Aliagas translate it since the product is French...
  No, I would not recommend it to someone who has a 17-inch laptop

  Excellent! I have the HP Victus 16.1" and it fits perfectly (it is larger than the Legion 5 17.3"). Without a cooler, the laptop had an i5 11400H at 77 degrees and an RTX 3050ti at 88-90 degrees. With the cooler, it is at 68-71 degrees for the CPU and 81-84 degrees for the GPU. A 5 to 10-degree decrease for me is fantastic on a laptop. The processor was stable at 3.8 GHz on all cores and now it's at 4.0 GHz! The graphics card increased from 1490 MHz to 1589 MHz.

  And with the temperature decrease and increased Hz in the essential parts. Now, regarding the colors and lighting. I didn't want it to be too flashy, if I wanted "bling" and RGBs, I would have built a desktop with LED strips in my office, etc. The lighting is a soft blue (blue has always been soft on desktops) and I don't know about red. Also, if you place a 15.6~17.3" laptop, the entire surface is covered, how will you see the color? Will you lift the laptop to see the blue/red light?

  In conclusion, it is very powerful in terms of ventilation, has a nice soft blue color, and an extra USB port so that you can use headphones or a mouse without occupying your port. I recommend it.

  For a large 17.3" laptop, it is just right, but it blows exactly where it is needed, on the entire bottom side. It easily supports the weight and is very quiet! For example, in a demanding game (NFS Heat, on full settings/graphics), you can hear the laptop, not the stand. It significantly reduces the temperature no matter how many hours you play, especially if you put it on the higher "legs" (it has double, short and tall ones). I would be happy if it had metal underneath to help more, but at this price, there is no complaint! For normal use, and a normal laptop (e.g. not gaming), it will be even better, but overall I recommend it!

  I'm running it on a 15.6'' i7-9750H 16GB RAM RTX 2060 system, when I enable RTX I can't say it helps much, meaning it only drops the temperature from 88°C to 87 degrees (processor), nothing special, but if you're doing productivity work for hours and need to have it open for more than 8 hours, then yes, you need it. It lowers the temperatures to 55 to 57 (processor) even when I'm pushing it with Photoshop, Visual Studio, and Chrome. I haven't tried other applications.

  17" Approved
  The laptop fits exactly within the limits, but if you have a 17" laptop, don't worry, it does support it, it just won't cover the entire laptop. Which doesn't matter much because it has vents on top for the processor and graphics card, and vents on the bottom for the battery and hard drive. So you are fine.

  USB APPROVED
  Now something important, if you want to use the USB ports for mice/keyboards with software, don't be afraid, I have a Logitech G102 with Logitech's software, and it works perfectly, no issues. My keyboard is a Motorspeed, so it doesn't require software, but even if I connect it, it still works, so as I said, they function 100% like regular USB ports.
