For the money, it's decent. It's more for not sleeping on the floor, to avoid being eaten by mosquitoes, etc. In terms of thermal insulation, it falls short. It's not bad, but on the ship where I slept, I wasn't satisfied due to the hard metal; I wouldn't buy it again, and I would go for something thicker for a better quality sleep. If you are the type who uses it often, invest in something better. I wanted it for a round trip by ship due to the lack of a cabin.

We took out the crib of our little one this year, we had it for him to sleep in. Good for other uses as well, of course.
