Four sea turtles visit the "Beauty Center" to take care of their appearance. There, before the turtles even finish what they had to do, six huge lobsters suddenly appear. They say they have a lot of errands and can't wait their turn. They try to forcibly remove the ladies to take their place. The turtles resist the injustice, get into a fight with the lobsters, and then, instead of the shark's wedding, it becomes... a chaotic wedding! The series: To ensure children have a healthy social life based on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things the same way another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books in this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the approach suggested for parents and educators, they attempt to initiate children into seeing the world through others' eyes, after first learning to recognize and manage their own emotions. The author: Yolanda Tsoroni-Georgiadis is a graduate of the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, the Department of Education of the University of Athens, and has further trained at the Marasleio Teaching School. She worked for many years in public education, writes for pedagogical magazines, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published many children's books, novels for adults, and studies of folklore content.
