The phone is a real flagship. Amazing bright display, 8gen2 processor, 1500000 antutu, unbeatable in photography, dxomark 154, 10th in global ranking (it's among the top 10 camera phones, better in camera than s24 ultra - iphone 15 etc.) powerful and bassy sound, large 5100 battery easily lasts the day, flawless Huawei software, 12+7 ram there's no hint of lag, 512 rom memory (infinite storage space) and it comes in the package with a 66w fast charger. What more could you ask for? I've been using it for about 2 months and I can only say positive things about the device. If you're thinking of buying it, don't hesitate. Honor's offering for the category is completely comprehensive and definitely worth attention.

The device is incredible in every way. Fast, fantastic photos in all conditions, continuous security and software updates.
Let's start from the beginning. The photos are completely mediocre. If you zoom in, you can see that it cannot retain the details and the oversharpening makes it look like a painting. The zoom x10 is digital and the results are pathetic. The macros are not good either. It's not even worth bothering with night photos... The videos are a disaster. Too much noise, especially in low light conditions. The HDR is just a black mess. The battery is mediocre as well. It doesn't last at all during the day. The second SIM and the E-SIM never worked. They disconnected every 15 seconds. It might have been a defect in my phone. Also, the signal was weak. The speaker was very low. The speakers are average. It is quite heavy, especially on the camera side. It charges fairly quickly, I must say, but definitely not 66W. The processor would overheat at random times, even when I wasn't doing anything on the phone! It had 120Hz and I still experienced stuttering on the screen! I don't understand why this phone has the 9th position on DxoMark, or maybe I do understand very well... Stay away if you want it for photography. I wish the Vivo X100 was available in Greece, but unfortunately it's not. I haven't even mentioned the most magical part. The official Honor representative in Greece does not support service for this particular phone!!!!!!!!! If something happens, they tell you to figure it out with the store where you bought it!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with that
To hear the person calling you, you need to have the sound at "maximum" and even the people next to you can hear it. The battery, although I don't play games, only use it for mail, social media a little, and light use, is not satisfactory. Compared to another phone that has a 67W charging, this one with 66W seems very slow to me (I'm not an expert) of course. Maybe someone else who knows better than me has a different opinion. Photos are very good, the screen is very good although it is curved which makes it a bit difficult, I have no opinion on videos. Overall, for its price, I would give it a seven (7) out of ten (10). The fact that it includes a charger, a case even if it's "fake," and screen protection is good.
The best mobile I've ever had. Fast, with amazing cameras and awesome sound, my battery lasts almost 2 days. With shizuku, ims, you activate volte and everything is perfect.
Recently, I have had in my hands (poco f4 gt, mate 50 pro, oneplus 11 & samsung galaxy s23 ultra 12/512 which I still have) the honor, which I believe is the most complete phone at the moment! It is incredibly fast, immediate, has insane battery life compared to the others, an amazing camera with a sensor close to the Insta! Really, in its basic form, the s23 ultra is no longer even close! It has infrared so it can function as a remote control for several devices! And the most important thing is that its operating system is identical to that of the Huawei, so it reminds us a lot of the beloved legendary p30 pro that marked many people! Of course, it is upgraded in all areas! Indeed, it does not come with wifi calling and volte, but it is not even a 5-minute matter to install them with just 2 simple programs! Upgrades may not happen as often as in other devices, but the good thing is that it doesn't need them, it really works correctly! And when they do come, you are not afraid to open them up like with other companies that you encounter (green line, burn-in, green screens, or the battery dropping like crazy...) After the p30 pro, which I kept for 2 years, the magic 5 pro is the only one that managed to satisfy me in all areas! I highly recommend it!
With the recent update it received, it added factory wifi calling and volte... It also solved the only minor issue it had! There are no words for honor!

Excellent bright screen, even in sunlight, with vibrant but not oversaturated colors.
Fast, doesn't lag anywhere, OTG connection, good Bluetooth, good sound through BT (those who talk about sound from the speakers simply don't know what they're talking about. Simply loud and clear).
Excellent camera during the day, very good camera at night with minimal lens flare.
Good battery easily lasts a day.
Excellent that it includes a charger.
Excellent that it includes a transparent case.
Negative:
Like other models not sold in Greece, it has the following issues.
Not supported by the official representative. I called, asked, learned, cried.
No WiFi Calling and VOLTE didn't work (on Vodafone),
Therefore, during a call, you don't have DATA.
Average signal where the old P30 was excellent and had VOLTE.
Anyone interested in this specific mobile phone, simply look at its positions in the global market and global reviews!! The phone is among the top 6-7 mobile phones worldwide for 2023, known as flagships! Those who write negative comments either have a faulty device or don't know how to use it correctly! It is good for some people not to write whatever comes to mind and not mislead others!
Do not waste your money on this PIECE OF GARBAGE. I bought it for 800€, two days ago, influenced by the comments and from the first moment it constantly freezes. It keeps restarting, asks for a pin and does not allow you to use it. Such a waste of money I threw away...
What can I say about this phone, I have changed all the flagships, gave up the s23 Ultra and got this one. Amazing screen, great build quality, powerful speakers, the best camera I have ever experienced on a mobile phone. As for the speed, it is the smoothest I have ever held in my hands. Well done, Honor
One of the best mobile phones for 2023. Value for money. Of course, due to Huawei's expertise, the quality is superior. Comparable, if not better, in many aspects than the big brand names. Bravo to Honor.
Owner of this excellent mobile phone that won the hearts of many with its amazing specs and incredible cameras.
Before I bought it, I researched it extensively because when you spend so much money, you have to do your research. I worked in the mines for 3 years to earn that much money. I looked at all the "Flagship" phones, but none had exactly what I was looking for like this one. The screen and camera were what I was searching for, and this phone excelled in those areas.
Let's talk about the pros and cons for me:
Pros
1) I have never seen such a beautiful and vibrant screen. The colors are truly impressive, just as described in all the reviews here and there. But it's not just that. It's the touch when you type. It has an amazing response and is fast. My hands were tired with my old Samsung and Xiaomi phones. It also has 2160hz PWM Dimming, while the S23 Ultra has 240hz and the iPhone has 480hz. Yes, those 1200+ phones. Also, the screen is very smooth and easily responds to your touch. I had the Poco X3 Pro for years, and my hands would bleed because my hand wouldn't glide on the screen or I had to tap something 2-3 times to make it work. This screen massages my fingers. Don't get me wrong, the Poco X3 Pro was not a bad phone by any means and maybe it was the best value for money phone ever released to this day. It's just that its screen made my hands bleed after a short period of use. That's a thing of the past with the Magic5 Pro.
2) What can we say about the cameras that is not a joke. Just looking at them from behind gives you a sense of awe, but in practice, it's even more awe-inspiring. At the default 12MP, the photos are amazing, with the option for higher resolution that this phone gives you because why not, at 50MP, with details and no flaws in zoom. But generally, it's better to use the default 12MP image because it performs better. The 50MP resolution only impresses a little in zoom.
You can shoot videos with all 4 cameras in 4k, and you can shoot dual videos with the selfie and back camera of your choice or with 2 back cameras. The quality of the videos is amazing, just like the photos, especially with the main camera, which is no joke. The colors are crazy. The ultrawide and periscope cameras are said to be among the best in mobile phones, but the main camera is out of this world, not to say that the other two are bad. They are impressively colorful and clear, they just perform better in daylight and not so much at night. Also, only the main camera has Night mode. The other two struggle at night, but during the day, they are impressive, and that was one reason why I got this phone because I wanted an impressive ultrawide camera, which in many phones is mediocre. Also, you can't shoot "night" mode videos with the ultrawide camera, and the video is very dark, so it's better not to shoot it. Only with the main camera do you have this mode, which has amazing quality but is limited to 5 minutes... Like all videos without "Night" mode, they are limited to 15 minutes. This can also be a con of the phone, as well as the fact that it doesn't shoot 8k videos. For me, 8k is not a big deal. I don't even have an 8k screen, so one thing or another. But for others, it might be. Also, I should mention that now the ultrawide camera shoots 4k 60fps video after the update because at the beginning, it only shot at 30fps.
Selfies are in 4k 30fps, and there is an option to make them wide, which other phones don't have, and this is the advantage of this phone. It gives you many options to enjoy. The quality is great, especially during the day. Not so much at night, just like the other phones' front cameras.
3) The battery is very good. I talked for 35 minutes on a WhatsApp call, and it only dropped by 1%. But if you have everything open, it will gradually drain faster. 5100 space while the competition 5000 tariffs.
4) The phone is smooth in everything with many options. From the few options it gives you the choice of 90hz and not only 120 or 60. Options for wallpapers, Always display smart things, etc.
5) The price, of course. It is 250 euros cheaper than the others and with 512gb 12ram inside + 66watt charger + case for the phone + screen protector for scratches. With one purchase you get everything. How simple (the tone in the first "a") this phone is and generally Chinese phones like Xiaomi, Huawei, etc. in this area. The iPhone Pro Max 15 has type c 3.0 and they give you a cable that supports 2.0. Well, there you laugh. You spend 1500 euros and they skimp on chargers and cables. Tragic... But yes, I know. "Go Green" is their slogan. Let's not misunderstand the kids.
6) Speakers. Loud, clear, and serious. You listen to music and enjoy it.
Cons:
1) I expected the screen to be a bit wider. It is different, but it has curves towards the bottom edges. Some people like it because it makes the phone beautiful, but when I watch a video or write, I want to make use of the entire screen. I had the same issue with the S8. Okay, that one was generally a miniature with a 5.8 display, but it had the same issue on the edges.
2) In the dynamic refresh rate mode that gives you the option to play with 1hz when you're not doing anything and 120hz when you are, I noticed that it didn't work correctly on apps like Instagram, YouTube, etc., and it felt like it had 60 or something more. With the 120 option, the phone was smooth. I don't know if all phones are like this in dynamic mode. It worked inside the phone. Not so much on web browsing.
3) The phone may be cheaper than the others in its category, but it remains an expensive phone. And yet, in the image, it doesn't give you the feeling that it's a beast. It is very beautiful, but it doesn't look premium like the S23 Ultra, which is wide and elegant with the S Pen and 4 rear cameras instead of 3.
4) The front sensor has an option to enable Smart Browsing. You wave your hand up or down (watch the video) and the phone scrolls the page you're reading without touching it. I have done it countless times and it doesn't always work well. My hand accidentally scrolls a paragraph with this method. I think the sensor is more useful for screen unlocking with face recognition or assisting the selfie camera, which it does well.
5) Last and perhaps the most important. Its microphone is not one of the best out there. It's not terrible, but when they tell you that you sound better with a Poco X3 Pro that cost 240 euros compared to this phone, you wonder. It also doesn't impress in videos, so I have to mention it, but it's not enough to deduct a star from it. For other reasons, I bought it and no phone is perfect in everything, although this one came close to perfection.
It's worth its money! The machine is excellent and I attach photos that show its incredible zoom. 19/11/23 I come back and remove one star as it produces colorless sunsets and not so clear night portraits. I come from Huawei P20 Pro where these were at least excellent. I will have to take this one with me too...
It is a very good flagship mobile with excellent management with Magic OS and top quality photos. Currently, it ranks 2nd in evaluation on DXOMARK and not without reason. It sounds a bit strange to me only in call sound, not in Viber calls, etc. I am currently investigating as the problem is not from the hardware. I will come back regarding it.
23/9 one week later, there is no problem with call sound, it fixed itself in less than 24 hours, maybe the update was needed. As for the photography issue, it is unique.
A masterpiece, mainly in photos and screen, I received it on 9/8/2023, incredible viewing angles and sound from the two excellent speakers, it's worth its money. As for wifi calling, I haven't tried it yet, but it's something easy. Very good zoom and screen brightness, smooth movement. Vibrant and realistic colors. The Snapdragon shows the phone doing everything perfectly. Update 13/8/2023, the battery easily lasts 1.5 days. Update 8/6/2024, I'm adding night photos without flash because some people here are really making conclusions that are up to you!
For those of you who are writing that the mobile phone does not have wifi calling and volte, I inform you that I have enabled ALL of them with Shizuku and pixel ims. Yes, the ones used for the Pixel! The mobile phone is simply amazing in all aspects and takes fantastic photos. The Falcon mode is also amazing for those who have children, dogs, etc., as well as the zoom and super macro mode. One issue it has is with flares from intense lighting.
I have had this beast of a device for 3 weeks and have to say I am more than pleased with my purchase. Luckily I got 100 UKL off the price and 500 UKL worth of freebies.
This phone has everything that the competition has not. Blazing fast charging speeds, 66 watt superfast charging. Battery lasts a good day and a half without problem. The camera is far superior to the Huawei P50 pro which was my last device. Photos are crisp, clear and the colours are so realistic. Having a phone with Google services again is a dream, though I did get used to not having Google for a number of years with Mate 30 pro and P50 pro. The meadow green is a beautiful colour and feels silky smooth. The free clear cover in the box fits snug though the Honor branded black cover has a better feel and look. There is a screen protector fitted from the factory which is just about keeping scratches from the screen. I have ordered a professional screen protector for when the factory fitted one starts to loosen. I highly recommend this device. I guarantee you will not regret spending the money on it. Oh and it has 5G too.
I have an excellent mobile phone that I received in early April, one of the first to be released in Greece. It is currently the best Android phone with Playstore for camera and screen. It charges very quickly and is quite fast in multitasking. The only negative is that it does not support Volte and WiFi Calling, which means that when you receive a call while using data, the internet connection is lost.
Wonderful phone that arrived in our hands a few hours ago, the device is quite premium and it excels in terms of camera and performance!
ATTENTION, in Greece it supports 5G and not VOLTE and WIFI calling, I mention this for those who want these two features!
