Aqara wireless doorbell with camera for monitoring your entrance. It can work with other smart devices through the Alexa app and Google Home.
AI Facial Recognition
The built-in local view algorithm is the biggest advantage of the Aqara doorbell. It can help people quickly know the identity of the person outside the door by noting the name of the designated person and push notification through the app or set different automations based on the specific person. Even if the network disconnects sometimes, the recognition function will not be affected.
Compatible with Apple Home, Alexa
Video analysis and notifications are carried out on your Apple devices, such as iPad, phone, Apple TV. Everything is encrypted before being stored in Apple's iCloud. Additionally, it can interface audio and video with Google and Alexa and connect with the Yandex Smart Home app to achieve automation.
Battery and Wired 2-in-1
The battery life of the G4 is one of the longest: Its 6-battery pack allows for up to 4 months of use. Additionally, you can connect the G4 to a 12-24V AC or 8-24V DC transformer, and the batteries will only be used in case of a power outage.
Do Not Disturb Function Support
Users can customize the ring period and volume of the doorbell. When the "Do Not Disturb" function is activated, even if someone maliciously rings the doorbell in the middle of the night,.
Personalized Custom Ringtones
Supports users to upload personalized custom ringtones as the doorbell sound, which can be automatically set to play on the external doorbell or the internal repeater and perform automatic connection configuration, such as stranger recognition and transmission to the doorbell "Tom is not at home, please come tomorrow".
Coverage Area Definition
Privacy protection can be set for up to 3 designated areas on the screen. After setting, the designated areas on the live screen and video screen will be blocked, which can protect the privacy of neighbors. This function is fully considered for users living in apartment buildings.

report it here.
For the first 2 months it worked normally, after that period it kept disconnecting constantly. Now it has completely "broken down." In blogs abroad, while searching for it, one notices that almost everyone has a problem with this specific product. 2.5 months for the representative (according to KAYKA) to change the part that made the device defective. December month, impossible to resolve the issue from Aqara so they decided to refund the money. It is not worth even 1/3 of the money it is sold for
It does not have a notification type ringtone when someone knocks on the door, but rather a usual notification like it continuously does, detecting passersby, making it dysfunctional!
Purchase and installation today, initially researched what is available for homekit integration, the truth is that if I found the belkin wemo available, I would probably choose it even though it is much more expensive.
I have quite a bit of experience with Aqara since my initial choices in sensors were from this company.
It is honest and has affordable prices.
At the price of 120-130 euros, there is nothing similar for home systems.
The installation is extremely easy, whether you choose the wired or wireless option.
I installed it wired to the cables from the classic doorbell and at a height of 140cm from the ground, and I used the base that provides tilt (I think 20 degrees).
At this height, you can see the entire body of a person standing at the door, but not from the waist down.
The resolution is quite good in lighting, in darkness I can see well what is happening outside the door, but I don't know what it will show if it detects a person (in darkness) because I have a motion sensor that activates the lighting.
On the computer, if you have the "Home" application open, you have a continuous stream of images that refresh every 10 seconds.
These are from the initial installation...
When I work with it a little more, I will come back.
Update:
I also tried the option to work only with batteries because it gives you the flexibility to place it wherever you like.
The limitations are that you will have to choose settings that do not drain the batteries, such as continuous flow and recording, which, however, give you a continuous image of what is happening outside the door. With batteries, you will have to choose, for example, only notifications where the device is activated and takes a photo only when someone is at the door. In this setting, you cannot have a live image.
In the test I did with continuous flow and recording, the batteries dropped 20% in 24 hours.
