Before I bought it, I looked for this specific product on YouTube, I only heard positive things about it so I decided to buy it, and it really is excellent, I don't think I could hold another soldering iron in my hands, it is so fast in the temperatures it can rise and drop, that you say okay it's incredible, as for its weight it feels like it’s not even there in your hand, today as soon as I got it in my hands, I started testing it on various soldering tasks, whether on SMD or with regular capacitors and various others, and I only have positive things to say about this one, I haven't seen any negatives for now but if I happen to spot something, I will come back to write it.

Perfect. It works for full detail; even if you're a novice, if you have good solder, you can do whatever you want.

The temperature is adjusted directly. No more waiting 5+ minutes for it to heat up and just as long to cool down. And it seems that the temperature setting matters depending on what you're doing.

The base it has is useful, and the best feature is the sleep mode... when you put it in the base, it stops heating, and when you take it out, it heats up in 2-3 seconds. I wouldn't buy a soldering iron that doesn't have this feature now that I have this one.

The soldering iron is as lightweight as possible. It's like it's completely empty inside.

The cable is 1.4m, so let's say 1.60m together with the soldering iron and the tip. It would be better if the cable were longer... You can also get a type C to type C extension (at least €6.5 for 2 meters of cable)... to make the cable longer instead of using an extension cord, which has a much larger volume and weight and drags the power supply with it that goes after the extension instead of before... Otherwise, you can have a bipolar extension cord 5 meters for about €3-4.

The soldering iron draws a maximum of 20W... I measured it with a meter, and the highest I saw was 15W at 412 degrees... so I don't know what the 110W it states means; presumably, it corresponds to some power level compared to regular AC soldering irons... Anyway, in general, at 350 degrees, it only draws 6W... and when you put it on the base for sleep, it draws nothing, 0W.

Also, the cable withstands high temperatures so it won't accidentally burn from the soldering iron. It doesn't easily melt the cable, but obviously, I haven't tried intentionally to see if it would melt.

    Negatives:

    1. They don't give you 3 tips as shown in the photos, but only one. The one that looks like a needle, as the stores describe. If you search enough, the lowest price you'll find for a tip is almost €6.

    2. When you clean it on the wire, sometimes the tip gets tangled, and if you pull it, it has happened to me that the tip comes out while it's hot, and you have to wait 1-2 minutes for it to cool down so you can untangle it.

    3. The base has a hole in the center where the soldering iron goes for sleep mode. There, there is a round magnet like a ring, which puts the soldering iron to sleep. You can also put any magnet in that spot on the soldering iron to prevent it from heating, but the issue is that it doesn't stick, so you have to hold it or tape it each time, which is obviously not practical. Therefore, I believe it should have a pen cap that has such a magnet inside for those who don't want to carry the base wherever they go to solder something. It's definitely possible to make a DIY cap with a magnet, but it's a bit difficult.

    4. The type C plug requires 15 Volts, and obviously, it doesn't work at all with 5V type C ports. (I'm just saying this for those who are wondering, because I had that question too) Because if it worked, it would be perfect with a power bank; it would be very practical. But you can make a DIY power bank that provides 15V output Type C PD. And since it draws an average of 6W-7W and has the sleep mode at 0W... it could last for weeks.

    5. It doesn't come with a carrying case, which would be very convenient for those who don't have it fixed on a workbench. From what I saw, a carrying case costs around €20 (that can fit everything inside, including solder, power bank, cable)... Otherwise, the cardboard box that has done the job of collecting them each time just isn't very convenient, and it doesn't fit anything else inside.

UPDATE: The soldering iron didn't work with the only PD 15V power bank (China) I found and tried.. but it turned out to be the power bank's fault, which didn't activate the PD, and that's why I tried to put a type C PD trigger board in between and immediately the power bank burned out. I don't know what was to blame... the power bank or the trigger board.. seems like both.

I don't know what's going on, it's hard to find a power bank that supports the soldering iron. However, with a car lighter charger that has type C 12V PD, the soldering iron worked perfectly directly. Actually, wrong.. after a few seconds it shuts off. So it definitely needs 15V.
