Metal, offers better protection than the plastic factory plastic.
It is not so big to cover the whole bumper, as shown in the photo (hence 3 stars, for misleading).
However, it looks a bit tacky as it leaves the bumper more exposed due to its small length.
The photo shows that it goes over the plastic, which is not true when you take it to the workshop, as it is not installed that way.
Expensive purchase for its price, as a product. The future will show if it is worth it or not and what it protects!
