I give it three stars not because it doesn't do a good job... quite the opposite. I mainly use it for speech and video recording. You need to install the Boya app, which has the settings you need to operate at maximum efficiency. 9 hours of battery life. Good sound for recording, very good noise canceling, but at some point when the phone is running low on battery and you want to plug it in to charge using the type C toggle while using the microphone, then the microphone stops working
Good value for money for what it does, but if you want it for an action camera, you should look better in another category
excellent, you have no reason to go to another. maybe I would get the V20 that comes with 2 microphones for 2 people after all.
For a cheap microphone, it's okay. It does its job. The quality is not amazing. It's decent. It doesn't work on my laptop, even though I have a USB Type-C port. And that's a negative for me.
For its price, it is possibly the best possible choice for a wireless mobile microphone because it does not limit you to being close to the mobile phone (if you are shooting videos with your mobile phone) and you can make distant shots while sounding perfect!
It is definitely not the best but a fairly good choice.
Anyone who has an Android device can check on the website for BOYA to see if their device is compatible. It does not automatically connect to all Android devices. HOWEVER, if you put your phone or tablet in developer mode and activate OTG, then it will work perfectly fine.
