Basil, one of the most popular and beloved aromatic plants of Mediterranean cuisine. It is planted in semi-shaded areas, sheltered from strong winds, for good growth and lush green foliage. Particularly during the winter period, it needs protection from frost, snow, and northern winds. It grows best in light fertile soil with good drainage.

Incorporating well-rotted manure and compost into the soil helps to create a strong root system and better plant growth. Sowing takes place early in the spring. We plant a few seeds directly into the garden soil or in a pot, at a depth of about one centimeter, and wait 1-2 weeks for them to germinate.
