The LANCOOL 216 is a mainstream case that features mesh panels for optimal airflow. Thanks to its modular rear panel, it can be optimized for air cooling or water cooling.
It includes 2 x 160mm and 1 x 140mm pre-installed PWM fans and an innovative PCIe rear fan bracket to maximize airflow.
To ensure adequate airflow in the system, the LANCOOL 216 features mesh at the front, top, and side of the power supply cover. The front mesh extends to the top for a continuous mesh panel.
Includes 2 x 160mm front fans and 1 x 140mm rear fan
The included 160mm ARGB fans feature two LED channels (one on the outer frame of the fan, another on the fan blade shaft) that can be controlled separately via an optional accessory or through the motherboard's lighting software by connecting them directly to a 5V 3pin motherboard header.
In the second chamber behind the motherboard, a SATA-powered fan hub can support up to 4x ARGB and PWM fans.
Air Cooling or Water Cooling
The modular motherboard I/O allows users to move the motherboard to a higher position, which is more favorable for air-cooled systems, or to a lower position for water-cooled systems.
Air Cooling
Placed higher, the motherboard leaves space above the power supply unit cover for larger fans.
Water Cooling
Placed lower, the motherboard leaves a 63mm thick gap at the top for the installation of radiator/fan combinations, ideal for AIO or custom water cooling.
I/O with portability
Including a power button, a reset button, an audio port, 2x USB3.0 ports, and a USB Type-C port, the front I/O unit can be moved to the lower left side of the front panel.
With ample space for graphics cards up to 392 mm in length and 180 mm in height (for air cooling operation), the LANCOOL 216 is compatible even with the largest cards in the NVIDIA 4000 series.
Pre-installed on the front of the upper radiator bracket, a sealing plate ensures that no pressure leakage occurs when installing smaller than a 360/3x120mm radiator fans on the top.
Removable Top Radiator Bracket
The top support bracket can be completely removed from the case for easier hardware installation. The bracket is removed along with the left frame bar to provide optimal clearance.
Two slots have been implemented to allow easy passage of fan cables into the second chamber of the case, simplifying cable management and improving the overall appearance of the build.
PCIe Fan Bracket
The GPU mounted at the top of the expansion slots in air cooling mode opens up the possibility of adding a 120 mm fan at the back of the case without obstructing the GPU's intake/exhaust. This is also feasible with a vertically mounted GPU in both air cooling and water cooling modes. The additional 120 mm fan provides better cooling for the GPU and greater balance between intake/exhaust for the system.
Compatible with Vertical GPU
The PCIe expansion slot panel can be rotated for vertical GPU installation, only an additional riser cable is required.
Up to 6 x SSD + 2 x HDD
A total of 2 x 3.5" + 6 x 2.5" drives can be installed with special storage brackets.
Cable Management
The LANCOOL 216 offers multiple options for easy cable management. Along the cable pass-through bar, 3 large velcro straps can hold 2 different sets of cables. 3 small clips are located along the rear side panel, ideal for clean routing of the CPU 8pin cable, and 2 additional velcro straps are located near the PSU chamber to help hold the extra length of the PSU cable away from the ventilation path in the lower chamber.

One of the best cases for airflow and cable management that I've used. A big plus is the top part for anyone with a radiator on top. Many conveniences.
Positives
Airflow.
Cable management. Things are really easy here.
Ability to lower the motherboard, which will drop your GPU 2 slots lower, but if you put a radiator on top, it can fit a thick 38mm.
Ability in air cooling mode.
14 fans at the back for exhaust.
160 pre-installed fans at the front.
Neutrals
I would prefer thicker metal, especially on the top metal mesh.
The screw to lock the side glass is annoying.
Two fans can be installed at the bottom to help the graphics card. One has the power supply underneath it, so it doesn't do much. The other one does an amazing job, though.
Negatives
Complete lack of filters. The front one must be purchased separately. Extra cost. For the bottom side, you will have to make it yourself. Whatever.
To install a GPU vertically, you need to buy a cable.
160 fans at the front. Special design from the company. Now they sell them as spare parts. At least you can put 120mm fans.
The way the front plastic snaps on is annoying. If you have purchased the front filter, with such airflow, the case will turn into a dust trap within a month, and you'll be opening it constantly. Besides, it snaps on very tightly and requires force to open to the point where you think it will break, and you don't know how long it will last. At least there is a way to fix it with magnets if it breaks.
Good, very good case. I won't say anything about the RGB. If you want them, use OpenRGB, load your profile via Task Scheduler, and that's it.
Perfect, excellent assembly and ease of accessing the computer, very spacious, many cable straps for cable management and anyone can understand its quality. It would be good if Lian Li also offered the filter for the front mesh, but it's a minor issue
Incredible box at a very good price. Quality and sturdy construction. Everything is ready from the moment you receive it. Everything opens with a simple "click" and closes easily again.
The most quality case I have ever held, I wanted a Lian Li for many years. Be careful if your motherboard does not have an RGB header, they will not light up but will work normally.
Flawless, high quality in construction with very good airflow and large spaces to fit a big GPU. The hub for the RGB makes cable management, which I personally hate, much easier; it accommodates quite a few cables and keeps everything organized!!
Excellent case. Spacious with 3 pre-installed fans 2x160 in the front and 1x140 in the back. They are already connected to a hub at the back. You just connect the hub's cables one to SATA from the power supply for power, one to a sysfan on the motherboard, and one to an ARGB on the motherboard. It also gives you extra slots to add more if you want. The front panel cable is single, you don't need to connect each one separately. It also has USB3 and USB Type C. Very easy cable management, with spots to hide the cables. Value for money.
The only downside is that the front dust filter is not included and you have to buy it separately. Other than that, at this price and build quality, it has no rival.
The definition of money well spent at the 106€ I paid. I was torn between the Be quiet Pure Base 500DX and this one, and after various reviews from abroad, I ended up here and I didn't regret it at all. It replaced an old Phanteks P400s, in which new hardware had been installed, resulting in the Ryzen 7600X running idle at 79c and the GPU idle at 62c due to insulation for noise and a front panel without airflow. Temperatures have dropped by about 20 degrees. What to say first. Excellent airflow, ergonomic design, as everything comes out so you have space to work, correct stock fans, modularity at its maximum to do whatever you want. Pass-throughs everywhere, quality clips and pre-installed Velcro for cable management. It includes brackets for horizontal GPU mounting on the mobo, you want a riser cable here, a bracket for an external fan on the GPU, and a small case for screws and accessories, see below for a detailed review by Neoptolemus, USB Type C on the I/O, even a movable plate that is placed on top of the lid so you don't lose air from the exhaust fans. YES if you don't set up the fan curves properly you might have a little more noise, it doesn't bother if you wear headphones. YES it may let a little more dust through due to the mesh which I personally believe will not bother me in the future because it has a tight weave, but practically without it you don't have airflow. Made in Taiwan. All of the above for 106€ is a steal.
One of the best midi towers I have seen. It comfortably fits all graphics cards and has 2 very cool fans in the front, so there is no need to spend any more money. For 100 euros, it is an incredibly good case.
Excellent case, overly high quality and very well made, ample space for cable management and the a-rgb controller at the back is very useful, because I had an old case with new pc parts inside I saw huge differences in sound and temperatures, the 160mm fans are extremely quiet even at high speeds (always in comparison to what I had before) I recommend it with closed eyes. Avoid contact with alcohol on the external surfaces of the case, I went to clean CPU paste that spilled on the case and the alcohol burned the color of the case. (Minus one star for this reason.)
It is the best thing I have ever had in a case.
I always bought CoolerMaster, at first I had the Haf X and until recently the MasterBox MB520, the need for a 280mm liquid cooling forced me to change the case and I decided to try Lian Li. It is truly wonderful, you can place the graphics card vertically or horizontally, it is spacious and has plenty of scratches at the back for cables.
The rear fan is not RGB, as you can see in the photos, I replaced it with an RGB one that I had.
Very heavy and sturdy case. It can fit everything and its ergonomics are its strong point. You can solve it almost entirely, or change the position of everything wherever and however you want. Assembly, cable management, and arrangement of other accessories are very easy, as there are slots and clips everywhere for everything.
It maintains very good temperatures with its large and silent fans. Anyone who has an issue with dust should get extra dust filters (from ali express ~10€). However, the design is somewhat indifferent and if you want something more impressive with glass panels and lights, look at other cases.
It includes a practical toolbox with screws and other consumables, as well as a graphics card support bracket that didn't work for me because it screws onto the motherboard, which probably needs to be full ATX to fit).
The only negative thing I noticed has to do with its soundproofing - not from its own fans - as when the CPU fan and the VGA fan (in case of air cooling) start and increase their speed, it starts to sound a bit annoying, at least in my setup, and it is best to place it low.
Positives:
- Excellent cable management
- Pre-installed fan hub that makes PC building even easier.
- Very good quality materials of the case
- Easy transportation of the control panel below.
- Pre-installed Lian Li fans. Two in the front and one in the back.
- Multiple positions for hard drives.
- Very easy opening of the front glass, back panel, and top of the case.
Negatives:
- The absence of filters in the front and top may make dust intake easier.
A case that you can easily characterize as value for money for what it offers in relation to its price (110€). Excellent build quality, spacious, compatible with E-ATX motherboards, great airflow, and ample space for cable management. The top part is removable, which greatly helps in assembling the computer. It has 2 modes for motherboard installation, Air cooling mode if you have air cooling, so you place the motherboard on top, or Water cooling mode if you are going to install liquid cooling on top, so you place the motherboard at the bottom. It comes with 3 pre-installed fans, 2 A-RGB 160mm fans connected to the case's fan hub and a simple 140mm fan at the back. Additional fans can be installed on the top (2x140mm or 3x120mm) and bottom (2x140mm or 2x120mm). Also, in the packaging, there is a bracket with which you can install a 120mm fan on the back side of the case at the height of the graphics card (from the outside). However, this can only be done if the motherboard is installed on top or if the graphics card is installed vertically, otherwise, the fan covers the HDMI and Display ports. The lighting can be changed either through the motherboard's software or with the A-RGB controller, which unfortunately is sold separately (first flaw). The second flaw is that it comes without a front dust filter, which is also sold separately. In my opinion, this should be included, and whoever doesn't want it can remove it. Apart from that, I don't find anything truly negative. You can easily fit any graphics card, my XFX 6800 XT is 340mm in length and there is plenty of space in the front. It has Velcro straps as well as plastic and metal clips that make your life easier with cable management. Ample space for the power supply and its cables, it also has a shroud for 2 SSD or HDD drives which is removable and dividable (you can remove only one slot if you want), which further helps with cable management. The panel with the buttons can be placed either on top or bottom left, depending on whether you have the PC on a desk or on the floor. Overall, it is a case that, for its price, I don't think has a rival for the features it offers, except maybe its cousin, the Lancool II Mesh.
