Having tried two brands of spirulina, and using Protonex for 10 years now, I have seen an incredible difference in myself. It may be a matter of individual metabolism, but for me, nothing compares to PROTONEX. Incredible energy, tested even during infections and even COVID-19 (you can't avoid getting sick, especially when you have young children), we're talking about an incredible boost. My high cholesterol (hereditary) has always been elevated, but with spirulina, it always goes down. Energy, well-being, increased appetite, reduced fatigue, and weight loss without significant changes in diet, plus increased hematocrit levels (which I generally had low). Personally, it reduces my hunger and always gives me more endurance during exercise.
What I have also noticed:
-Rare minor stomach discomfort, BUT only if I take it on an empty stomach for breakfast when I'm in a hurry, while drinking my coffee (but why would you do that? Just eat a toast or cereal with milk and there won't be an issue).
-Intense sweating when I move, do chores, exercise (which naturally helps with quick weight loss).
-The only thing I haven't seen is a significant difference in nails and hair, as some claim. I have seasonal hair loss (not to a great extent), but I haven't seen any improvement in the quality of my thin hair. But I have to say that I didn't know it would benefit in that aspect.
I started taking it 10 years ago for immune system strengthening and boosting, and it has fully met both of those needs all these years. Oh, and I should note that I used to buy it much more expensive, between 13-18 euros in the past.
I should mention that I have always weighed between 60-70 kilograms (depending on age and some extra weight after pregnancies), and I always took and still take 2 tablets in the morning (I don't take 3 based on my weight, because I didn't see the need for more). Before exercising, I take another 2 (I don't exercise every day, only 1-2 times a week if I have time for it) and 4-6 tablets per day when I have any infections.
The dosage and results definitely depend on each individual's body.
During pregnancies and breastfeeding, I stopped taking it because I was a bit afraid that it might boost the babies too (haha), just kidding. I avoided it because I didn't have any data, so I don't have an opinion on that.
