Unfortunately, it doesn't charge my phone no matter how low the battery is, maybe because the battery is 4 volts when fully charged, while phones need 5 volts to charge. As a radio and speaker, it's excellent. It picks up signals very well, has a very loud and clear speaker, and easy connection to a phone via Bluetooth
