Very good picture and generally many features. HOWEVER, the menu is difficult as it does the same things in different ways. To arrange the channels in order, you need to read the manual; otherwise, you will question your intelligence. Also, it does not read NTFS hard drives. And finally, the remote control makes a loud clicking sound - not the best for a bedroom. If these do not bother you, it is very good.
Excellent TV for its money! Purchased at 399€ (55 inch).
The picture quality is excellent with a viewing angle of 0°-30°. At an angle above 30° it is a nightmare. Colors distort excessively, white turns pink and black turns gray. I noticed that the more you lower the contrast, the better the viewing angle improves. However, be careful because excessively low contrast will make the colors washed out. For me, the appropriate settings are:
Brightness: 49
Contrast: 42
With the above settings, the picture quality is the same at every viewing angle for 1080 HD, 2160 HDR, and HLG content. Of course, this is subjective for everyone and varies from TV to TV. For Dolby Vision content, no changes are needed as the viewing angle is quite good with factory settings.
The sound is quite good, has decent bass, and will not disappoint. If someone wants strong bass and real Dolby surround, a soundbar is needed.
This is the 43" and for simple use in the bedroom. The TV is very good. I don't believe there is a better value for money TV on the market in this category with all the features that come with it. I got it from a well-known chain on sale for €259. The picture is quite good with a rich color palette. The downsides for me are that the brown shades are overemphasized, no matter how much I tried, I couldn't balance them. Also, the processor is below the requirements, resulting in freezing during the playback of internet programs. The sound is very loud. If you have it in the bedroom like me, you will need headphones so as not to disturb the other half. The lowest sound level is still quite audible. It connects easily through mobile to the internet. The software and menu are identical to a Philips one that I have, so channel sorting was a breeze. The legs have a small distance between them compared to other TVs, 70-71 cm, and it can be placed on a 75 cm and above furniture. Overall, if you find it at this price (€250-260), I consider it a very good choice.
I decided to buy it because it was the cheapest QLED....and with the logic that the worst QLED would be at least equivalent to a good LED....Unfortunately, it has disappointed me so far as its image quality ranges from mediocre to poor AND it requires constant adjustment of settings to improve it....It also has several issues with the picture, especially on internet platforms and mainly in dark scenes where the result is very poor and it produces various lines and shadows....I do not recommend it
Excellent and honest choice for a tight budget, especially if you get it on sale or with a subsidy from a phone company. Nice panel without clouding, etc., nice sound as others write. WARNING if you are coming from a more expensive series and a different brand, here you will not find great color presets, in fact it is the worst factory-calibrated screen I have ever seen. It needs some work.... The settings are there, start from the general option "FOR MOVIES" and run on youtube a video White Level Screen Monitor TV Test Pattern it will take you some time but it will fix the situation, it will reward you.... if you leave it like that you will have color issues. Only final flaw max 45 degrees viewing angle - enough to watch from the living room.... from the kitchen pretend you don't see it... :)
EDIT - For the friend who complains that the TV pixelates in very dark scenes and he is right, when watching from various platforms I would recommend pressing the (i) button located above and to the right of OK, and check the bitrate of the image, do not expect HDR performance in a HD 1080 video running at 1.2 Mbps is ridiculous, in 4K running at 17.8 Mbps and in carefully produced content because there are also bad ones, there will be no pixelation etc problems in dark scenes.... Of course, after adjusting the settings in colors etc, for each movie he will eventually have to check the following for NETFLIX, Picture Mode (DOLBY VISION BRIGHT or DARK or VIVID, Auto Backlight and Gamma THERE IS NO magic PRESET that works well everywhere simply because there are excellent technical productions and also terrible ones.... And I refer more to compression and their adaptation to the platform
Excellent value for money television. It was set up very quickly with the help of a smartphone. Google TV! The Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc. accounts were connected instantly....
Excellent sound (Onkyo speakers)
The program sorting is a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, you can easily navigate in 5 minutes.
Overall, the ultimate value for money!!!!
Very good television. At 350e QLED. The sound is incredible. You don't need to turn up the volume even halfway. Very good user-friendly menu. It is an Android TV, so during the initial setup, you enter your Google account and everything is connected! It also has a regular app store. Very good clear picture. Good viewing angle, but only on the sides. Not on the top or bottom. So, if you look at it from slightly higher and not in a straight line, there is a slight issue. Whoever has a low piece of furniture should pay attention to this. A very good opportunity!!
The television is superb. For its price, it is a serious tool. The picture is crystal clear even when connected to the computer. I was also surprised by the sound. You can't turn it up all the way. The whole neighborhood can hear it. Also, the sound quality is amazing.
Perfect image, perfect sound, 90-degree viewing angle, stable internet connection, straight metal legs and not angled, so it fits even in narrow furniture, the best choice not only in terms of money but also in much more expensive ones. All the others in this price range or even a little more somewhere fall behind, this one nowhere.
I bought it from a well-known chain for 298 euros and honestly, this TV is the best at this price, I didn't expect it to have such a good picture quality and be so fast. It is much better than an LG one that I have at home, which is a 2023 model. The sound is excellent and the viewing angles are very good
Flawless image in colors, brightness, and black, with dozens of settings.
Also, awesome sound.
Dolby does a great job.
For its price (349 euros in 24 installments for the 50-inch), surprisingly good.
Let's hope it will also have durability over time...
Diamond! Details that make the difference, iron legs... 5 minutes installation - synchronization with gmail account, easy sorting of TV programs... very good picture but also sound! 349 euros is, in my opinion, a steal. It has Onkyo speakers! It also has built-in Chromecast.
One of the many brands manufactured by Vestel Turkey, purchased for the bedroom and it is a pretty good purchase for the 300 euros I spent. The operating system is a major advantage, you can install any application you want and it plays everything as a player. Relatively fast although the image requires a lot of tweaking in the settings, the way it sorts the channels is a bit strange. The only complaint is the remote control, small buttons that take time to get used to.
Very good image.
The legs are made of iron.
The viewing angle is almost 90 degrees.
The speakers are very good and excessively loud.
I have connected it to the internet from a cheap mobile phone. No problem. I can watch movies from various sites normally. It doesn't freeze or kick me out. This is important for me because I don't use a regular antenna at all.
I have also connected a mouse. It helps a lot with work.
05.06.24 No problem. Very good.
After two 55-inch Samsungs, both around 700-800 euros, I believe that anyone who spends even one euro more to buy any other TV besides this specific Toshiba is fooling themselves. The TV is not just value for money. From the moment it turns on - regardless of personal preference for image settings - you are captivated. However, it is the sound that surpasses all imagination. It is so powerful and high-quality due to the ONKYO speakers along with Dolby Atmos that it exceeds every expectation, whether in stereo or surround sound mode. Above average, the sound will be heard throughout the neighborhood. Amazing viewing with amazing sound. It has everything from apps because it is Android. The menu could be simpler, but it will definitely not cause any concerns. The remote control is flawless. Connection to WiFi is seamless. Everything works perfectly. I got it for 385 euros. I feel like I bought a Lamborghini while expecting a Hyundai Atos. Congratulations to Toshiba.
