The truth is that I don't have experience using kitchen machines in the past, so I can't compare. This particular one gives me the impression that it is quite powerful, stable, and generally of good quality. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to be on top of it because the dough sticks to the sides of the bowl and you have to push it back in with a spatula. So while you don't have to struggle kneading with your hands, you don't really save time either because you have to be there. However, the dough comes out just fine!
The purchase was made on 2/10/24, 119 euros is a promotional price!! First impression, the noise is normal compared to other more expensive ones, in cake dough. WARNING the whisk and hook are nickel-plated aluminum, they are not stainless steel, so keep away from the dishwasher!! More impressions in the future.. 8/11/24. Continuing with bread dough, the initial impression is confirmed, at the second speed the noise is unexpectedly low. Dough quantity 1600 grams. The vibrations and movements are within normal limits.
The only downside is that in hard doughs (such as tsoureki, etc.), it shakes like crazy and if you don't hold it, it will definitely fall off the counter. Otherwise, very powerful motor and large bowl!!!!!
First time buying a kitchen machine so I don't have a comparison measure with any other. I went all in the first time with the dough for tsoureki. Well....... it handled 1 kilo of dough BUTTT if I didn't hold it, it would have fallen from the counter. It was shaking like crazy! Help me, Holy Mary! So, I understood that for doughs, either I have to cut off my hands to hold it or tie it up. However, the bowl is worth every penny! Huge! In terms of noise, it's okay, it handles it well, but I was disappointed with the quality of construction, too much plastic, but what can you expect with a 100€ purchase. If I could turn back time, I would save money and buy a Kenwood or Kitchen Aid. You buy once for your whole life
There were no comments for this specific model, so I took the risk of buying it "blindly."
Well, it is powerful and relatively quiet. Large bowl, standard attachments, the whisk surprised me with its sturdiness.
Careful packaging.
We tried it on heavy dough and it did a good job.
On sponge cake even better!
It definitely worths its money much more than anything else the market offers at its price.
What you need to know is:
- the little window on the lid of the bowl for adding ingredients does not close. This does not create a problem during operation, but when the bowl "sits," it collects dust. So it needs a fix with transparent film.
- When the machine is plugged in, the speed change indicator blinks. I always kept the previous one plugged in, while now I have to unplug it. And it is not convenient in my case.
I will return in a few months for more.
UPD:
After two months of daily use - all good.
The suction cups underneath hold firmly and the only case they might come off is if hard dough is combined with excessive speed.
When you have a little dough, you might need help with a spatula. This, because the bowl is very large.
UPD:
After a year of frequent use - all good. Although I put a larger amount of dough than recommended in the instructions. (I put 3.5 kg of dough for bread) The attachments have not lost their original color, as I thought they would.
