excellent shoes, very lightweight, I use them not only for races but also for quick training sessions. I have done over 400 kilometers so far and the shoes remain just as good
Perfect for races and training. Unfortunately, after 7 months, while I hadn't done many kilometers (less than 300km on asphalt always), they started to tear and both shoes externally from the side. Inside and underneath they haven't suffered at all. So unfortunately they are not durable shoes since I have read the same problem from many people. Perhaps Saucony and the stores should reconsider having them so expensive and lower the price.
Bought for 162.5 euros. Weighs only 219g in size 43. It's a shoe for kilometers, many kilometers! It's very lightweight and fast. Comfortable and performs very well while running. Fabric with great breathability and fits nicely on the foot without causing discomfort. The sole has suitable material that helps you run as much as you want! It has great absorption and responsiveness. Provides a stable step and performs the same on any terrain I ran on.
Very good running shoe, recommended for races but I have also used it for training in 10km because my old shoes were hurting me towards the end. With these, I have found my health, the shoe is designed to have the arch support and at first, the feeling may seem a bit strange to you.
I have had these shoes for six months, but I am writing the review now because if you don't put in the kilometers, what can you write about? First of all, let's say that these shoes are racing shoes, meaning we wear them for races, not for leisurely walks or for going up and down sidewalks and splashing in puddles and streams. I have run 147 kilometers with them, mostly without breaks.
Their weight in size 45 is 232 grams, probably the lightest shoe I have, and this is due to the very lightweight materials they are made of. The upper part is perforated to the point where your foot is visible from the outside, so the color changes depending on the color of the sock you wear :) The sole, although very high and bulky, is very lightweight, while also being very soft. Inside, there is a carbon plate that provides tremendous responsiveness and maximum energy return to the shoe. With these shoes, you can hardly go slow.
The foot strike is very peculiar in stance and at very low speeds because it has a contact axis with the ground towards the outside of the foot, so do not judge it by trying it on in the sports shoe store, you will feel that you are not balanced well.
Personally, I consider them incredible shoes that constantly surprise me, with perhaps their only drawback being the durability they will show over time because their materials are very thin. But if you think about it, considering they are purely racing shoes, how long will it take for someone to run 500 racing kilometers to judge them?
The shoes have a very good sole with a very nice feel if you can stabilize yourself inside.. the upper fabric is practically non-existent, resulting in not keeping you firmly inside the shoe and your foot going back and forth. It is very unstable to the point where I think I will twist my foot if my route has points where I need to change direction, like a circular field. It seriously lacks in the material of the upper part, which is also responsible for its behavior that is not justified for the 200€ it costs... Look for something else better.
Absolutely satisfied. Given that these are racing shoes, they are not as aggressive as, for example, the Vaporfly, resulting in them being more friendly to many runners. I trusted them for the Thessaloniki Marathon and they made me come out on top
Unfortunately, I do not have a good experience with this particular model. What you see in the photos are the pro 3, after 2.5 months of training on stadium terrain and soft asphalt only. I am referring to both shoes being worn out, both on the inside and outside. I have been a loyal customer of Saucony for many years, and I have worn almost all the endorphin models with great success. However, the number 3 model seems to have not met expectations, or maybe it's just my own issue, I don't know. Nevertheless, it is very thin and sensitive at the sole and fabric junction, resulting in what you see. It's a shame...
Let's start with the basics that the shoe is a racing shoe! As a owner of the previous model (pro2) from Saucony, the difference is enormous! I used it in a marathon (20/11/22 3rd) without breaking them in, and compared to the previous model, the shoe is much better in all aspects. The cushioning reminds me of a recovery shoe, the responsiveness has increased significantly, and the carbon plate is much better. The difference in sole height compared to last year's model makes it difficult to step wrong, and the lacing provides a sense of security. The only negative was that after the race, the sole had stained my socks, but with the improvement I saw in my times, it doesn't bother me at all, as I have dropped over 20" pace
I rate it as a running shoe, not for walking, etc. I have used the shoe for long runs and races.
Very lightweight and soft, but one can feel the carbon fiber sensation that propels the body to take the next step during running. Very different from the previous generation (pro 2) and much better in my opinion.
During a long run of 30km, I started to feel fatigue in my feet after the first 20km, but overall, I enjoy using it.
The only issue I had is that the tongue of the shoe is very small, causing it to slip under the laces. It didn't bother me, but it might bother someone else. Also, the pink color stains the socks.
Overall, I consider it one of the best shoes of 2022 for fast pace in long distances (marathons, etc)
