Description

Pot Altas from the company Nava, made of cast iron while it has handles made of stainless steel. It is suitable for use in professional kitchens (restaurants or hotels) as well as in all types of household kitchens, while at the same time it is suitable for direct use in the oven. Its special honeycomb-like surface gives it long-term durability in everyday use and high resistance to scratches. The additional coating ensures corrosion protection of the surface and at the same time enhances the non-stick property of the cookware. Use the pot to sauté, smoke, fry, bake on the stove or in the oven.

Advantages of cast iron

Some of the main characteristics of cast iron are its fast and uniform distribution of temperature in the pot, its non-stick property, and the fact that it retains its temperature for a longer time. The pot gradually transfers its heat to the food, resulting in all its nutritional ingredients remaining intact.

This allows you to cook while saving energy and using minimal or no fat, so you can have a healthy and tasty meal. Their production is based on an innovative technique, which results in reducing the weight of the pot compared to other cast iron cookware, while maintaining the thermal properties of cast iron that enhance the flavor and make cooking in cast iron pots unique.

Usage Instructions

  • Before first use, wash the pot with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.
  • Grease the interior of the pot with oil or butter before each use.
  • Do not overheat the pot when it is empty. Cast iron pots reach high temperatures quickly, so it is recommended to lower the heat intensity to avoid overheating.
  • Low or medium heat is sufficient to achieve the best cooking results.
  • Do not let the grease or oil heat up to the point of smoking, burning, or turning black.
  • Use any preferred tools, even metallic ones, but using kitchen tools made of wood, plastic, or silicone will help maintain the cast iron pots and non-stick coating as new for many years.
  • Do not pour cold water or other cold liquids into a hot cast iron pot to avoid possible cracks caused by sudden temperature changes.
  • Do not soak the pot in water. For longer lifespan, let the pot cool down and then wash it with warm water and mild dish soap. Dry it thoroughly and store it in a dry place. Hand washing is recommended to maintain the pot's lifespan and non-stick surface.
  • Do not use wire or harsh cleaners.
  • The non-stick coating complies with regulations for materials that come into contact with food.
  • Caution is required when using acidic or alkaline ingredients in the cast iron pot. Grease the pot well before cooking acidic foods and do not leave acidic foods in the pot for a long period of time. Avoid extinguishing food with wine.
