The Marshall Emberton II is a better speaker than the Marshall Emberton overall. The Emberton II is compatible with the Marshall Bluetooth app, which allows you to access EQ presets to adjust its sound according to your preferences. It can produce more extended low bass than its predecessor. It is better built with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, certifying that it is dust-tight and can be submerged in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes.
The popular Marshall outdoor speaker now comes with 10 more hours of playback than its predecessor, so you can enjoy 30+ hours of listening. This new generation features Stack Mode, so you can boost your session by connecting with other Emberton II speakers.

For the €100 I bought it for, it's a very good choice. Of course, you can find speakers with similar volume and size at a lower price, but they will likely fall short in build quality and sound. The most interesting feature of this speaker is that you can buy a second one and combine them to play together. Although I haven't tried it yet, it seems to be an excellent solution if you want more sound and volume in the future.

Marshall is a 5-star winner. You will never have unpleasant surprises. Excellent speaker, suitable for use in a large indoor office. I haven't tried it outdoors, to be honest, and it is not intended for that use. The EQ application is excellent compared to the Emberton i, very easy and seamless connection with PC, mobile phone. Excellent sound, beautiful, maybe a tad heavier, but as I said, since it is in a fixed position, it doesn't bother.

The present speaker was purchased for systematic use in various genres of music (metal, classical, rap, etc.) and performs exceptionally well in all of them.
In terms of construction, it is heavy and sturdy, the only thing that doesn't seem as durable in possible falls is the logo on the front. Visually, it is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, with the control "button" on the top being very convenient.
Its battery is a beast, lasting many days even at high volume, and charges fairly quickly.
As for the sound, it is subjective, but I am fully satisfied with the sound of the Marshall in all genres of music, and the bass is just right, not overpowering but definitely not unnoticed. At high volume, there is a slight distortion in the sound, as with all speakers, it delivers better results up to 80% volume. Overall, I would say it offers a very balanced and rich sound.
In summary, while someone can certainly get the job done with a much cheaper speaker, if you're looking for something more, I consider the Emberton II to be a very good speaker choice in this size and price range.
