Honest budget 1440p monitor. Up to 270 euros, it is a very good purchase. The colors out of the box are quite vivid and may not be to everyone's taste, but with some calibration, it gets better. Other than that, the 165 Hz is very pleasant and gives a sense of smoothness to whatever you do. The response time is satisfactory. Finally, there is software for controlling the monitor settings in case someone does not want to use the joystick button on it.
Very good gaming monitor at 165mhz + Boost can reach 185mhz and with 1ms it's worth it!
As a budget monitor user with a TN panel at 144Hz, the difference is night and day. The colors are perfect and vibrant. I recommend it for everyday use and especially gaming. For tasks like photo/video editing, you might need a bit of calibration as the colors are more vibrant/intense than they should be. If you don't want to go through calibrations and such, the sRGB profile is relatively good!
I have had it for about half a year. The monitor is very good for its price (around 300 euros), as it has very good colors mainly. It is not lacking in hertz either, as it is at 165, while the overclock can take it to 180. Overall, I am very satisfied; I received what I got and more.
I think it is one of the best monitors I have ever worked with in my life. Amazing colors and response, the features I was looking for! The only problem I see is the menu and on/off button (the same), which is like a joystick and after many uses, it usually breaks. Let's hope it has a long lifespan.
Former owner of the Dell S2721DGFA, I decided to change and try the LG 27GP850P-B. On paper, they are identical screens. If I'm not mistaken, they have the same LG Panel. Both are 27-inch gaming monitors, with low response time, 165Hz with LG accepting OC to 180Hz.
So I wanted to see what different or better the LG can do with its own Panel and... OH BOY, I DIDN'T EXPECT IT. It's the DELL monitor I had, but "on steroids". The Clarity of the image is superior. The Text is clearer. The Blackstabilizer of DELL was slightly better, but LG overall is MUCH MORE worth than what it costs compared to Dell's counterparts.

The design is the classic one we will see almost in every LG UltraGear with decent build quality. Although plastic, it is very sturdy while at the same time extremely light.
The color accuracy as I said, is excellent. Not perfect, but so far it's the best "Out of the Box" colors I've seen on a Gaming monitor under €400.
But now let's go to my favorite feature of all. Motion Blur Reduction.
Many times we will notice, usually in FPS Games, that there is a "ghosting" effect around our opponents when they move, especially in Counter Strike. Even if you haven't noticed it, know that it's there, you just haven't noticed it yet. So Motion Blur Reduction minimizes this problem to some extent with one drawback though. The monitor reaches up to 165Hz and loses 40% of its brightness.
Is it worth it though? For me, yes. MBR offers an EVEN SMOOTHER operation, a similar experience to what I had with 240Hz and above monitors. No, you don't reach higher Hz, but the lack of Ghosting gives you a clearer and smoother motion.
Overall, it's a very good monitor with no significant issues or complaints so far, after 2 months of use.
It is one of the unique monitors on the market that offers you 160-180hz 2K resolution and HDR. The colors are very pleasant to the eye for me, now for some who look a lot at warm versus cool, it's a different category altogether for gaming, editing, and reading a virtual book with the reader mode that the monitor has as a setting. In conclusion, for its price, the settings and performance are very good, etc. It is worth it for those who want to spend their money on a very good monitor. Note that the text has been written based on 2 months of use, any damage over time will be noted.
With the help of the beloved site RTNGS.com and after countless reviews and Reddit posts, I ended up choosing this Monitor.
Someone might think that it's not worth it with the little money it costs. WRONG
Okay, yes, I'll admit that it has a bit of glowing and bleeding light, but at the end of the day, you get an IPS, so you have to accept some of its flaws. Mine is within reasonable limits, thankfully, but in the end, it also depends on each person and how much they can tolerate it.
However, compared to my previous one on this subject, it is significantly better.
I should also mention that this monitor has nothing to envy from other similar ones that cost 600€.
The colors are beautiful and it gives you a feeling that it's worth more than 340€, and of course, let's not forget that even though it's an older model, it comes with Nano IPS and not just regular IPS like the newer model LG UltraGear 27GR75Q-B.
The screen is not very good, but the stand is the worst I have seen. When you press the button to open the screen, it goes up and you have to bring it down every time.
The use of it is for both office work and gaming. It became my main monitor and so far (3 months) I am extremely satisfied, especially considering the fact that I "stole" it on sale for 308 Euros. Honestly, I don't know what better you can get in terms of 2K IPS HDR for this price. I don't have high demands from the monitor, but it is truly a pleasure to compare it to previous VA ones, especially in terms of colors. The response time and refresh rate are also very satisfactory. Five stars from me and I consider it one of the best purchases I have made.
The LG is much better than the Samsung G5 that I had bought a while ago because it was cheap. More satisfied with the blacks, the colors, and the brightness. Overall, a nicer experience and a more flexible screen with the mechanism. For me, 5/5. But if someone is strict, they can give it a 4/5 because it doesn't display blacks perfectly based on some tests I saw from others. Still, for its price, it is top-notch.
