After twenty minutes of operation, a vertical red line appeared across the entire diameter of the screen (from top to bottom). Complete disappointment! Fortunately, the store processed our request for a refund within two weeks. Our trust in Samsung has been shaken.

  This specific review is more about people who want to buy it as a gaming or movie television! Coming from a very good Sony LED technology television, I was looking for something more and ended up with this one! Initially, I will say that if you are generally a Samsung television owner, you will probably be more than satisfied with the picture quality that this one offers, but there is a big but! If you come from Sony, Panasonic, or even LG televisions that are based on color fidelity, you might experience a slight shock at first regarding the colors. The colors on PS5 and Xbox in HGIG mode are completely off, and it takes a lot of searching to get it to a point where it reproduces colors as they should be and not just to impress! After a lot of reading and many adjustments, the picture quality is simply unmatched! The GD-OLED technology makes the difference by offering brightness as well as absolute black. The brightest colors are rendered perfectly, something that simple LG OLEDs struggle to do due to limited brightness. So, in conclusion! If you are willing to spend a respectable amount to acquire a good television but are also interested in color fidelity, contrast, etc., it’s better to spend a little more and get something from Sony or LG's G series! If you are not so concerned about that and just want a television that is impressive and really drops jaws, then yes, Samsung is just what you need! Either way, if you are willing to read and experiment, this one can reach a point where its picture quality rivals much more expensive televisions! P.S. The latest S90C models come with Gen2 panels (which the S95C also has), meaning that with a simple adjustment through the service menu, they acquire the brightness of the S95C! 1300 nits!

  I bought the 55-inch version, I have it for about a month (for any changes I will return) and I use it for movies, series, and gaming.
  In short, it is the best TV I have ever had, with some minor flaws.
  First of all, the TV is spectacular from every point of view. The viewing angles are exceptional, the colors are very vivid, there are no intense reflections, and it is bright. Its black is absolute, as if the TV is turned off. The contrasts are extremely dynamic, meaning it can show a snowy landscape and at the same time show a cave in the frame and appear completely black. Also, in very bright frames (such as snowy landscapes), the brightness adjusts automatically so that the image is not dazzling. It's as if the company has provided for almost all viewing scenarios. Its sound is quite good and clear on its own, you can even feel a bit of bass which is impressive for speakers of such a thin TV. A soundbar is not necessary. Even the set-up experience is nice. I had some concerns about OLED screens due to burn-in but I saw that the company has taken precautions and the TV has protective measures such as a screen saver if it remains idle in menus or apps, image shift (the image of the TV moves very slightly up and down and left and right) so I was reassured. It is very thin, literally cut myself as I was installing it, it has 5 HDMI 2.1 ports and an HDMI ARC which the company recommends connecting a Samsung soundbar to. Finally, the remote control, although extremely small, is practical and does not need batteries as it charges via solar power from the panel on the back. For gamers, you can fully utilize the 2.1 HDMI port with the PS5, the 144Hz that make all the difference, and finally the gamer mode that the TV has on its own and allows you to change some settings such as motion display or colors while playing. Finally, connecting a Samsung soundbar was the easiest connection and setup I have ever done. It has the company's q symphony system which allows the soundbar to work in combination with the TV speakers for a better experience.

  Now for the negatives.

  I will list them in the order I noticed them. I couldn't find anything so negative to reduce the rating in the stars, it's mainly details. The construction of the TV (and the remote) is completely plastic. The legs during assembly required a lot of force to snap in correctly (to the point where I wondered if I was doing it right). My remote fell once from the couch pillow to the floor (it's small and light so you forget where you left it) and while it didn't suffer any damage, I saw that its plastic at the corner came loose (which I pressed and snapped back like new), it's not something serious, but it's worrying if you have children or pets. My previous TV was a 2012 Samsung FHD 120Hz for a similar price but aesthetically it looked superior to the economic ones. While the new one aesthetically does not convince you. It needs to be in operation to understand how good it is. The operating system and menu are chaotic and not so user-friendly. I will give an example to be clearer. I downloaded 3-4 applications from the TV application center (which is excellent and had everything I asked for), and none of them appeared on the home screen except for one. In the end, I had to open the display settings of the bar I wanted, go to the special menu, and choose which ones I wanted to appear. Okay, it's not a terribly difficult process, but why should I go through the process of downloading an application but not want it on my home screen automatically (which is the only way to access it)? Also, in terms of functionality, Netflix often doesn't work well and produces errors that can be resolved by restarting either the application or the TV. Such a big company should have done a better job with the software.

  It lacks Dolby Vision, but the HDR of this OLED panel outweighs the difference. Compared to the LG C3, which I was able to compare side by side, Samsung had the advantage despite LG's Dolby Vision. However, I noticed an issue with color reproduction. When a scene with a dominant color (e.g. brown) is displayed, the TV functions as if it is applying a filter to prevent the colors from burning. However, when there are alternating scenes, for example, a dialogue between two actors, one in a scene with dominant brown color and the other in a scene with dominant blue color, the change is noticeable due to the delay in applying this filter. You see the colors as brown for a second until the filter is applied and they turn towards yellow. This is something that can be adjusted in the picture settings, but it was always noticeable, especially when using the PS4, which is likely related to upscaling. As for durability, I cannot express an opinion, but the company provides a 5-year warranty (excluding burn-in or "impressions" in Greek).

  As I said, all the negatives I mentioned are not so significant, perhaps even insignificant for an average user. I just mention them for anyone who has more questions.

  In conclusion, it is a very good choice for someone who wants to allocate a slightly higher budget to get something they will enjoy much more. Honestly, I saw many TVs before choosing this one, and I cannot recommend any other without at least doubling (or tripling) the budget. Even the more expensive TVs are very comparable to this one, and in my opinion, the difference is not worth it. For cheaper options, I don't see a reason for someone to choose QLED when the prices are almost the same and OLEDs are so much better and more advanced. Even if someone wants to buy a 55-inch TV, it's worth spending an extra 200-300€ and choosing this one. I hope in the future OLED TVs become more affordable so that more people can enjoy them.

  Great picture, colors, contrast, brightness, clarity. Very good sound from the TV speakers, now connected to a Samsung Q Symphony soundbar and the sound experience has been upgraded. It provides all the latest technologies that make it ideal for gaming (HDMI 2.1, high refresh rate of 144hz, etc). Its menu is very user-friendly, the response is very fast, and connectivity with other devices is very easy (iPhone, AirPods, decoders, consoles, soundbars, etc). The remote control may seem awkward at first if you come from the classic big ones, but it proves to be very well thought out as with the basic buttons you can do everything and handling in the dark is just a game with the positions and textures of the buttons, it also charges either with sunlight or with a cable. Its design is very modern especially when viewed from the side. Its construction is sturdy and heavy. Cable management is also very well designed on the back. Certainly, its price is quite high but I believe it touches perfection in all areas and the details make the difference.

  Initially, I wanted to buy the Q90 LED from Samsung, but as soon as I saw the OLED, the image quality in terms of colors, contrast, and viewing angles was so superior that I decided to spend the extra 300 euros and I don't regret it.
  The picture is top-notch for 2023 and can only be compared to some OLEDs from other companies.
  The sound is okay, but I already have a Samsung soundbar, so it enhances movies and music.
  In terms of connections to YouTube, Cosmote TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, everything works perfectly. Only Disney+ gave me a little trouble connecting to my account (it's an issue with the company's TV application).
  Overall, everything is perfect. 200% success in purchasing this television.
  P.S. It doesn't have last year's panel, as someone mentioned. This only applies to the 77" version, not the 55" and 65".
  P.P.S. I also bought the JBL BAR 2 (2023) soundbar now, and it has amazing sound for its price.
