Image quality, many ports.
If two computers are connected, often when you switch the input signal port with the joystick, it freezes and doesn't show the image immediately.
Purchased mainly for the arm and replaced a Dell ultrasharp 24”. Night and day. First of all, the resolution greatly improved the user experience. Almost retina and you don't see weird artifacts in the fonts. Unfortunately, both Windows and MacOS have removed the relevant settings, resulting in seeing ugly letters. Then the size helps to have much more content. Very bright and better image. OK, I can't judge the last one 100% because I haven't calibrated them and the old monitor has worked overtime. The speakers are decent for quick listening and it's important that they are available in both HDMI and USB-C.
The only reason I take away one star is because the arm is too loose for my standards. The screen "wobbles" sometimes while typing, imperceptibly but it happens due to the very flexible arm; this may also be exacerbated by the weight of the desk one uses, for example, mine is an eureka gaming desk which I would say clearly contributes to this imperceptible wobbling due to its light weight. Due to doubts that the arm is solely to blame, I only take away one star. Otherwise, as presented.
I have the 32" version, and I bought it for image editing. The screen comes already factory calibrated at a very good level. It has very good color accuracy from the factory, and the arm is also great. The installation was very easy overall. However, I would like it to have more USB-C ports at the back.
Be very careful though, in order to install the set with the arm, the desk must not have a "back" on the side where the arm is attached.
For this price, you won't find anything better for a professional use monitor.
I just bought the MacBook Pro 16inch M2 Max, the first thing I did was to find a second monitor for mainly editing purposes. I searched a lot to find one close to the quality of the Retina Display and I came across the Ergo. I had doubts, to tell you the truth, but from the first moment I realized that this monitor is what I was looking for. The main thing is that it provides you with a USB-C port at the back of the monitor, so I can connect it directly to the MacBook to display the image and charge it. It has speakers which are indifferent to me because I have speakers. It requires some initial adjustments because it has the default settings, so you might be scared by the quality at first, but adjust it and the resolution will be fine! For those of you who plan to do video editing, photo editing, graphic design, and even programming, it is a one-way street. Don't look at the price if you have the budget. Pay attention to the inches because 27 inches is not a small screen. So, the 32 inches can be quite big if you have a small desk.
I don't often write reviews, but even though I have the screen for a short time, I am very satisfied and decided to write a review. We got the screen for office work as an engineer (AutoCAD, archicad, etc.). The first image from the screen is extremely encouraging. Very clear. Side by side with the old one, you would think that the old one is broken. You have to get very close to distinguish pixels and even then it's difficult. Of course, I don't have experience with other similar 4K screens, only with Apple's 5K, I think. Compared to lower resolutions, it's like day and night.
The stand is incredible, very sturdy, and does its job 100%. Only the stand alone is worth 100€. Overall, everything is well-made.
I give it 5 stars, even though it's early because I've only had it for one day. I am concerned about the fact that you have to do scaling because you can't see anything from the program menus, and this is something I want to see how it will affect in the long run, and of course, if it's as clear as it seemed at first. I will come back if anything changes.
I am thinking of getting a second one for another position in the office.
The screen operates flawlessly from every rotation or viewing angle. The factory arm stands out for its sturdiness and properly supports the volume and weight of the panel. This allows for easy adjustment of position/rotation/angle according to needs and preferences.
With the direct USB-C connection, in addition to the image and sound signal, my laptop (13" MacBook Pro M1) is simultaneously charged.
The presence of 2 classic USB ports on the back is useful, where you can connect an external hard drive or USB sticks.
For anyone interested in ultimate ergonomics in their office and requiring portrait mode alternately, I highly recommend it. It turns like a feather in the air!
