The portable Bluetooth speaker from LG offers 40 watts of power and includes two full-range speakers for stereo sound. With a full charge, it provides up to 24 hours of continuous music playback. It features hands-free for comfortable conversations via speakerphone and charging capability via USB, making it easy to charge with a power bank. With an IP67 protection rating, it is ideal for the beach, pool, or forest, as it is dust-resistant and can withstand water for 30' at a depth of over 1 meter. Note, movement in water creates increased pressure. Additionally, it has built-in LED lights for atmospheric lighting during music playback.

I expected something much better, that's the truth. Not particularly strong sound for its size and really, if you don't put it to work in sound boost mode, the sound is unacceptable. Literally garbage. On the positive side, it is sturdy and sits well wherever you place it. Important! I have no previous experience with speakers of this kind to make a comparison with certainty. Maybe for this money, all companies sell the same or even worse. However, I would recommend to anyone considering it to look for other options and not rush to buy it
The speaker is very good. It has 40 watts and performs perfectly. Its weight is 1100 grams. It has a very stable and non-slip base. Its bass is of very good quality and does not distort. In contrast to the JBL Charge 5, which I have, the JBL has slightly higher volume and stronger bass, but the volume gets distorted at maximum and the bass is of slightly lower quality. The LG has superior quality in sound, sound clarity, and bass. It does not have more bass than the Charge, it has a similar, maybe slightly less, but much higher quality bass. Also, the LED lights of the LG give a nice feeling and through the app, you can change their color or turn them off. You can connect the speaker to multiple devices such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc., and directly hear the sound from those devices through the speaker. Additionally, the sound boost feature gives a different dynamic to the sound, fills it up, and makes it more bass-heavy and dynamic.
The problem with the JBL is that when you listen at low volumes, the bass overpowers the sound and you don't hear the treble as much. With the LG, if you want, you can listen without sound boost and it plays more flat at lower volumes, and if you want a more bass-heavy experience, you can activate the boost. It is worth its money and I recommend it over the Charge.
After my xboom pl7 broke, I decided to try something "better", not because it wasn't good, but to say that I have something even better. As soon as I excitedly opened the packaging, the first thing I noticed was its weight, which was much lighter than the pl7, which made me wonder if I should ignore it and try the sound. My disappointment cannot be described! In terms of quality, it was mediocre overall, in terms of bass, ZERO, I didn't try the treble, and it's better not to mention the volume.. I have held a better speaker in my hands for €30, it's ridiculous that it cost €140 (at least when I bought it). I really didn't expect such a fiasco, especially after 2 years of using the pl7, which I must note has been the best speaker I've ever had (in terms of portable speakers of this size, of course). I expected that since the pl7, which costs €80-90, is so good with the features it has, then the xg7 would be even better. Little did I know what awaited me!... I hope you're not still considering buying it because it would be the worst way to waste your money, I would have been better off burning it in my backyard.. I can't provide further information because I won't keep it to find out. I'm sorry if I disappointed you, but I was also very disappointed when I bought it. I highly recommend the pl7, it excels in every aspect (I won't describe it here, maybe I'll do it in the reviews). Also, I should mention that my relationship with sound is quite demanding, so someone else might be satisfied, but as I mentioned earlier, for €50 less, you can get the pl7, which is much better. The only thing I don't know is if it's more durable, but the pl7 was satisfactorily durable, and consider that I took it everywhere, to the mountains, to the river, in summers and winters, everywhere and always!
The sound boost option should be activated from the first second. It upgrades the sound quality a hundred times more! Without this option, the speaker is garbage, no exaggeration!
