The positives are the texture of this product, which is very fluid and does not leave a shine. On my skin, because it is sensitive, it caused an acne outbreak as I consider its ingredients to be somewhat "heavy" for a sunscreen. I definitely would not choose it again.
It is the best sunscreen cream for oily skin that I have gotten so far. In the past, I used La Roche's anti imperfections but it was too heavy. The Vichy UV clear leaves the skin hydrated without shine
The best sunscreen for oily skin with acne-prone tendencies.. I have tried all the brands available at pharmacies and this is the lightest, has a beautiful subtle scent, not greasy at all, absorbs immediately, and at the beach, my eyes don’t sting like they usually do with sunscreens.. Just to note that it is very runny like a serum and not like a cream which for me is not a negative..
I loved it. I have combination skin with tendencies of acne. For years I have been searching for the ideal one and finally found it. Oiliness after hours I would leave but it is reasonable.
Lightweight indeed, however, pimples were formed even though I rarely get them (combination skin). As soon as I stopped using it, my skin cleared up immediately!
Amazing product. As a person with oily skin prone to acne, I can say that it is the only product that is effective on my skin. I have tried other well-known brands, but their sunscreens cause other skin issues for me.
Within a week of use, it disappeared black spots and pimples. Oiliness decreased significantly and the texture of my skin improved. Moderate scent, not bothersome. Matte finish but in intense sweating it shows small white marks that disappear with a gentle pat. Perhaps the best sunscreen on the market for oily skin.
For its effectiveness I cannot speak yet for sure because I bought it recently for the first time and I have also used it only once. It is too liquid to an excessive degree, so much so that it runs between my fingers before applying it on the face. Its feeling is extremely thin (in a positive way) but it has a slightly strange scent (I have never encountered it in a sunscreen and I don't know what to compare it to). I don't think I will buy it again because of its very liquid texture. Its packaging is very nice and practical for the bag, more like a sample than a regular sunscreen. However, Vichy is generally a company that has strong sunscreen products for combination/oily skin - in my opinion at least - and I try them.
Fantastic sunscreen, the best I have ever used. Lightweight, non-greasy, does not clog the skin, and does not cause breakouts, possibly due to the extra ingredients they have added. Good base for makeup. It has a scent that fades within a few seconds.
It has been around 10 days since I started using it and I am very satisfied! I have a problem with my acne and acne scars, and it protects me from the sun as it has helped me with the marks due to salicylic acid it contains. It is neither greasy nor heavy sunscreen, you don't feel it throughout the day and it spreads and absorbs easily due to its lightweight texture, the scent is gentle, mainly smells when I apply it and personally, I really like it! The only negative is that it takes 2-3 pumps to cover the entire face and it is only 40ml... However, I am very satisfied and I don't think it will stop me from buying it again!
Having tried many facial sunscreens, I am pleased with the choice I made with this one. I love la Roche Posay, but this Vichy one is even better for oily skin. It absorbs perfectly, does not clog the skin, and I did not get pimples that I usually get from sunscreens that, although they are aimed at oily skin, feel heavy and sticky on me. This one actually does me good, probably because of salicylic acid and niacinamide. The only negative is the 40ml and not 50ml that is usually the majority of sunscreens. However, it is top-notch. Congratulations to Vichy for this gem.
I have already bought it twice and I don't know how much better product can exist for oily/acne-prone skin. It feels very lightweight, nothing like what sunscreen products usually leave, even after many hours my makeup doesn't melt (let's say eyebrow pencil) and it doesn't leave a residue. It has the salicylic scent like all the products in the range, personally it doesn't bother me, it gives a refreshing feeling. Vichy, you win!
The best sunscreen you can buy for oily skin. It is very lightweight, so it won't burden your skin, it doesn't leave a white cast, and it provides a matte finish all day long. I recommend it if you have issues with oiliness and acne, it won't cause any problems for you.
It has suited me and I generally recommend it to my friends. It has a lightweight texture and doesn't feel heavy like other sunscreens. The only downside is the small packaging. It runs out very quickly.
I tried it from a sample and I was very satisfied. It is very lightweight and leaves a matte and smooth feeling on the skin without any shine. I haven't tried it in the sea, but as a city sunscreen, it provides full protection.
Nice product for oily skin, despite the heat in the summer it doesn't break or crack and it works well in combination with other products. The big downside is that it doesn't last long and doesn't deserve 5 stars. It ran out after one month of use, while other facial sunscreens last for at least 6 months. I believe that because it is so fluid, it should have a larger quantity (it is 40ml while most facial sunscreens are 50ml).
It does not leave any greasiness and does not worsen acne. It is a good base for makeup. It has a neutral scent, but it is particularly liquid and runs during application. However, it is much better than many others.
The philosophy of this particular product is cute. I tried the sample and I can say that I don't like it at all because the scent is very strong. It smells like all the classic sunscreens to a great extent, which personally I don't like. It sits okay on top of makeup, but after 4-5 hours it starts to clump and ruin it. I believe that the addition of salicylic acid is unnecessary with SPF. Salicylic acid is better used in a exfoliating product at night, and in the morning, sunscreen should be applied without any acids or anything excessive. I will not prefer it.
I tried it from a sample, so I can only say the conclusion I gathered from the little use I made. Whoever is tired of heavy, greasy, and clogging face sunscreens, should get it blindly. It is very lightweight. Very much so. And maybe just for that reason, I have a slight reservation about how much it protects or if it requires frequent reapplication, where it becomes uneconomical because it is only 40ml. However, it has excellent performance on the skin. It spreads easily, does not weigh down, does not leave white cast or flakes, absorbs easily, does not leave a greasy feeling, and overall it is impressive for a face sunscreen. In this aspect, the formula is successful. It remains to be tested how well it protects in demanding conditions with intense sun exposure, etc. I will buy it at some point to try it even more. Finally, I would like it to be a little more economical for its quantity.
Very fluid and easy to spread (something not easily found), leaves no white residue and has a wonderful powdery scent. It absorbs instantly on me and leaves no greasiness but a matte finish. Also, not much quantity needed.
I come back after 2 months of use. While during hot days I got burned on the body, on the face not at all! It needs reapplication after sweating a lot/ after swimming in the sea, like any sunscreen, but still not much quantity needed. I have to say it is my favorite sunscreen for the face!
The only downside is the small quantity of the bottle!
