My review is about the deathstalker V2 TKL PRO with red optical switches. It is a very good keyboard, especially because it is low profile and tenkeyless, it is also very beautiful and minimal in design. The red optical switches are very fast and the wireless connection is excellent, so it is comfortable for gaming. The build quality is very good, but the price is a bit high. On the positive side, it also has Bluetooth and with a simple switch change, it can connect to up to 3 devices via BT (not simultaneously of course).
Now, on the negative side, the battery lasts quite a bit but it depends on the hours of use and the intensity of the lighting of course. With a lot of use (8+ hours) and over 40-50% brightness, it needs to be charged every other day. This, combined with the fact that over time the battery will lose power, may be an issue that will concern some if not all users.
Update: after a year and something, and despite careful use, meaning without letting the battery drain and charging it as needed, the battery started dropping from 65% to 0% suddenly and now it only lasts a few hours. So there seems to be an issue with the battery. However, because I have liked it a lot as a whole, I will get exactly the same but wired. It's a shame that there is no tenkeyless wired version.
RAZER LINEAR
Sturdy and quite high-quality, almost 90% of it is made of metal and not cheap plastic. It has a fast/immediate response and is comfortable.
This is coming from someone who doesn't like Razer at all, not at all.
It is one of the few that has moved away from the plain classic boring green with the tribal symbol
(typical gamer kid vibe that exudes Fortnite).
It exudes the vibe of a true gamer, streamer, and office worker.
It has many options for various needs.
For someone who wants something that is more ergonomic, without having the big classic mechanical keyboard switches, then they have found the solution. You have a gaming keyboard with low-profile keys + the media keys that help and you can make them perform various functions. Of course, you also have the wireless aspect of it that you can operate without a cable, etc., either from a distance or wherever you want (e.g. television)
If you don't use it or see it up close, you can't perceive the quality of the keyboard. Comparisons with the g915 are simply ridiculous (I had the g915 too), with the only advantage of the g915 perhaps being that it looks more beautiful in photos (and not up close), although these are subjective.
Everything is flawless and functional and aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly, it looks like a keyboard that will last for years and will amortize its high cost. For lovers of low profile and wireless, it is a one-way street, both for business and pleasure.
